The tents are perfectly suited for romantic couples—although we were six motorcyclists, so we couldn’t really enjoy that side of it! Still, I really liked the super quiet atmosphere with only the sounds of nature. I slept excellently. The service house was also very good. Breakfast was quite simple—some of us would have loved a proper hearty countryside breakfast. The host was friendly and welcoming, and she even drove us from the parking area to the campsite with all our gear on an ATV.

Cooking on a gas stove in the shared kitchen, fetching more water from the well to do the dishes, enjoying the warmth and cozy twilight of a sauna and being surrounded by quiet and green. If you're looking to experience a true Finnish summer, this is it. Simple pleasures. The town centre of Korppoo is a short ride away if you're driving or cycling, and if you're hiking in the archipelago, the walking distance is not bad either! And the nearby Galtby ferry port makes exploring the islands easy, with Naawa as your home base. Sara was a friendly and helpful host, and has created a truly unique place for people to experience and enjoy nature.
