The host was incredibly hospitable and thoughtful — they went above and beyond by surprising my wife with flowers, a birthday card, fresh garden eggs, and homemade jam, which was absolutely delicious. We also loved having all the essentials provided for a BBQ and bonfire. The vibe of the place was peaceful and calming, surrounded by nature with horses, sheep, and rabbits nearby. Honestly, there was nothing to dislike — it was a perfect getaway.

She counseled me on trains and stations nearest the property, and arranged to pick me up at the station and drop me off when my stay was complete. The first evening we had a nice cuppa and chat at the fire pit in front of the farm house. My bed and bedroom furnishings were very comfortable with relaxation and sleep made easy. The shared bathroom was clean and bright. Location was good as the property is within walking distance of the village of Terrington St. John where I could easily catch public transport to other places in East Anglia. Overall I felt quite at home and among friends; I would recommend Karen's Willow Barn to any traveler and family.
