Located amongst the desert mountains, 10 min by car to the main entrance to Petra (visitor center), and 10 min walking distance from the Little Petra entrance, the place cannot be positioned better. If you are coming by a car, it is super-easy to find the camp (has a large free parking area). The camp itself is as beautiful as it can be. The tent was perfect - super comfy beds, with an AC unit, and it is beautifully decorated. The large tent for dinners around an open fireplace is magical. Overall, we truly fel in love with the place and the people. The staff is wonderful, Mohammed and Ahmed, thank you for making our stay so memorable and receiving us as if we were old friends or family. Thank you from my heart. The food was great! They have the most amazing Jordanian cook that prepares the dinners that carry a gentle, meditative energy. There are delicious vegetarian options too. I recommend booking half-board in advance as you will want to forget about everything and let the locals take care of you. Plus there are no grocery shops near by( you will definitely not miss them!). We stayed for 2 nights, however, l wish we stayed longer. I bought a 2-day pass for Petra, and you will need 2 days: 1.day to see Petra from the main entrance and day 2 to enter from the back, starting from the Little Petra. The third day would be perfect for a rest after long walks on day 1 and 2, and to visit a Bedouin cave where some Bedouins still live. We got invited by several Bedouins to spend the sunset with them and have dinner in the cave, but unfortunately we had to leave. Three-nigh stay would be a minimum and l highly recommend staying at Little Petra Bedouin camp. Passing by the other places, l truly believe this is the best option for an unforgettable experience. The silence there, the clean air, the nature, and the amazing people will ensure you wish to return.

The location was very good with a very good spot to watch the sunset. The host went above and beyond in regarding our wishes for breakfast and dinner. We are both vegetarians and the food provided was delicious. We definitely recommend to overnight at this location!

This tent features a shared bathroom, a private entrance and garden views. The unit offers 2 beds. Kemp se nachází jen 1 km od osmanské vesnice Dana a začátku stezky Wadi Dana. Jordánci jsou všeobecně milí lidé, ale personál tady byl naprosto skvělý! Velmi nápomocný, poradili s túrami, pořád se starali, jestli máme všechno, nabízeli čaj atd. Navíc i angličtina byla dobrá, dalo se s nimi pokecat o všem možném, o životě, životním prostředí atd. Měli jsme v plánu jít stezku Wádí Ghuweir, ale bohužel ten den ráno pršelo a stezka byla z bezpečnostních důvodu uzavřena, tak se aspoň snažili navrhnout nám jiný program, takovou krátkou procházku po okolí. Když se odpoledne vyčasilo, navrhli nám trasu Sheq Al-Reesh, tam to bylo taky nádherné. Opravdu jsem nepoznala milejší lidi. Jinak výhled dechberoucí a jídlo měli výborné. Moc mi chutnala domácí marmeláda z fíků, ale vlastně všechno. Zkrátka pobyt doporučuju všema deseti, takový výhled jen tak neseženete.
