Easily one of the most beautiful and unique stays we have ever had in our travels! The view of Mount Fuj, smaller hills and the lakes, is amazing beyond belief. We saw the most amazing sunset we have ever seen. The staff is very helpful and friendly as well. The BBQ DIY meal was easy to make and tasty. The room was also very comfortable and unique.

The location was easily navigated by google map and close to the Main Street which takes 5-10min drive to supermarket and convenience store nearby, and about 10-15 min drive to local restaurants. Not too close to lake kawaguchiko tourist area ( i wasn’t the one driving but it felt like a 20-30min ride) and the outdoor living space and neighborhood was quiet.

Everything was very nice, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The food was incredible, but come very hungry (if you ordered the meal) because there was a TON of food. The sauna was such a great addition and really added to our experience. The staff was so accommodating they even drove us into town when we missed the shuttle. They also provided luggage forwarding for us with ease.

This is the best place to stay in Yamanakako to have the most convenience access of the Hirano beach and to be ready for the Mt.Fuji photo taking before the sunrise (weather dependent), only if you are not picky about the facilities (new but not as modern as the expensive hotel). I am totally okay with shared washroom. The elder lady (front desk) is very nice, tho she cannot speak English, check-in and instructions are clear enough. She has prepared Chinese check-in instructions separately, so don’t worry about communication issues.
