If you are coming to Udawalawe for a safari then this is the place to stay. Located very close to the National Park entrance this camp had us feeling like we were one with nature. Our room tent/cabin was ready on arrival. It is not a hotel so you should know going in that this is a camping adventure. Beds were comfy and cam with very good mosquito nets. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure was fine. There is no A/C but you do get a floor fan and the room also has plenty of outlets for charging. You get your own private deck in front of your tent with chairs and a beautiful view of the river. I would suggest allowing them to prepare all of your meals. They were all delicious and came at a fair price considering there is nowhere else to eat within a mile or two. The camp prepares and takes car of everything for you, meals, free river tour, and free night walk after dinner. They also will book your safari for you. Once you arrive, you do nothing. It was absolutely amazing.

This was the best accommodation we stayed in Sri Lanka. Our safari trip was very well organized and it was really great. The hotel is built in a beautiful setting with a river. The staff were fantastic and always ready to help answer any questions including “what bird is that” x 20. The staff were patient and knowledgeable and they made my experience amazing!!

Ahaspokuna by Eco Team se nachází v destinaci Belihul Oya a nabízí zahradu, terasu a výhled na hory. The surroundings of the camp are just stunning. The gardeners Indika, Upalai and Kumara do a very good job. The area is very quiet and full of birdlife an other animals. Our bushwalks with Nuwan and Dimuth were great, although we could‘nt find any elephants. Kumara led us to a beautiful waterfall where we had e refreshing bath. The service and food cooked by Upalai and Rajitha was excellent. Thanks a lot to all staff - we will come back one day 👋🏼🙏🏻

Kottawatta River Bank Resort se nachází v Udawalawe a nabízí ubytování s venkovním bazénem, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, zahradou a sdíleným loungem. Udawalawe národní park je 17 km daleko. Everything! Kottawatta surprised us at every turn; from the cold facial towels upon entry to the poolside drinks to an amazing curry for dinner. As a plus, the room was extremely comfortable. Our safari organized through the hotel was exceptional!

Offering river views, this fan-cooled tent has a private entrance, seating area and extra large bed with spring mattress. It includes a hot water shower, towel and shoe racks. Rooms, the pool and the area is clean. No problem with that. No rats as it was mentioned in google reviews. Staff is very kind, friendly and helpful. Room is spacious with some flies which didn't bother at all. Big area which is lightened and you can have a romantic walk. You have a very close connection to nature here. You can it on the spot - good restaurant with pretty big menu, tasty food and veeeery reasonable prices! Perfect stay, we'll definitely come back! Greetings from Latvia!

Athgira River Camp se nachází u národního parku Udawalawe s výhledem na řeku Rakwana. K vodní nádrži Udawalawe a záchranné stanici pro slony je to jen kousek. The staff took care of us like a 5 star hotel would do. They organized a safari on the day and transport the next day for us. I was impressed by the quality of their services.

Sudagala Jungle Glamping se nachází v destinaci Ratnapura a poskytuje venkovní bazén, zahradu, sdílený lounge, terasu a výhled na bazén. Everything is rteally nice, the rock pools are amazing and the junglke is all around you. The cabins are very new and comfortable. I thought the loud music was a bit irritating, but maybe that was just an exeption!
