This tent's special feature is the pool with a view. The tent provides air conditioning, a private entrance, a terrace with river views as well as a private bathroom featuring a shower. A perfect lodge at a perfect spot. The tent was very nice, the bed perfect and the lodge was a very welcome peaceful area. The view is stunning and the beds are very comfortable. The food was amazing! Everything fresh made, with love and attention. I will recommend this lidge to everybody!

The room we booked was very comfortable, spacious, fully equiped and lovely decorated by Hanli. Great lodge and the perfect for our purpose of entering Mata Mata early the next morning . We enjoyed the views over the dry river beds, lots of birds and many ground squirrels

Grunau Country Hotel nabízí pokoje v destinaci Grünau. Všechny ubytovací jednotky v tomto hotelu s 2 hvězdičkami mají výhled do zahrady a hosté mohou využívat zahradu a bar. The small, simple room was very clean (and so were the shared toilets/showers). The hotel has made an effort to make the place homey with a bit of decor inside the room and plants/decor throughout the property.. The wind and cold were fierce during our stay, so we were very grateful to have a good heater in our room (and they provide enough blankets). While the WIFI is only available in the reception/bar/restaurant area, it works well. Good to have a reasonably priced restaurant on site, as there are few eating options in Grunau (you can order your meals ahead to be ready at a certain time). We stayed for two nights while visiting Fish River Canyon as it is much more affordable than the places in/nearer the park (unless you are camping).
