The property is in a beautiful location, isolated but not too hard to get to from the main road. Beautiful sea views in a tranquil area. I loved my stay here. There are trails to walk on the forest near the property and curious monkeys would show up in the morning to look at our chalet. Food in the restaurant was really good and I’ve also used the spa, which was amazing after a long flight. Staff were fantastic, so friendly and attentive. Wish I had time to stay longer and hope to come back one day. Book without thinking twice.

These tented suites feature a private wooden deck and an en suite bathroom with an indoor and outdoor shower. Family run safari camp with hands on owners who love conservation and take great pride in the excellence of their guides. The guides were very knowledgeable and a special shout out to Abram who is wise beyond his years. We saw great wildlife up close and personal whilst still feeling totally safe. We did both a driven safari and a walking guided safari - both were excellent and memorable. The lodge was very special and Mare, a hand reared antelope, hangs out near the lodge, which is delightful.

Hartenbos Private Game Lodge is a privately-owned escape set in the malaria-free region of Hartenbos, Mossel Bay situated on the Garden Route. Nice view and very polite people.

I had an amazing stay at [Hotel Name] in [Location]! Despite the winter cold, the room was cozy with every detail thoughtfully designed. The hotel's atmosphere was inviting, and I loved the activities like the safari and horse riding – they were totally my vibe. This tent's standout feature is the private pool. Offering free toiletries and bathrobes, this tent includes a private bathroom with a shower, a hairdryer and slippers. I was late for breakfast, food was almost finished. I enjoyed their fresh fruits and fresh orange juice.

This tent features a hot tub. Guests will find a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and a tea and coffee maker in the fully equipped kitchen. The tent also comes with a barbecue. We loved our stay, it’s private enough that you can really relax. It was clean and comfortable and would definitely come back. My only suggestion is to make sure ice trays are full before new guests check in - but it did not take away from our stay.
