Private bathroom as part of the tent. The staff is very friendly and you can easily connect with other people during game drive or at the camp fire. Game drives were fantastic! We have seen all the big 5 and our guides Karabo and Floyd are very knowledgeable. We also really enjoyed the food. The star is the braai (bbq) which offers options for meat lovers and vegetarians. I was surprised how good the oxtail was. The starter soups are also amazing. Vegetarian options were also available on request. Potential allergies were requested beforehand. For breakfast my favourite was the omelette, but other options are provided as well. Besides all of this you can enjoy the pool surrounded by birds between your game drives and in the night time, the sounds of the bush (yes we heard hyenas while falling asleep, but no need to worry, all is safe as a fence separates you from the wild animals!). The tents are very comfortable and tastefully furnished and decorated. The common areas too. It was a pleasure to come back for a hot drink there after a safari. We stayed 2 days and the elephants came twice to drink at the waterhole. The staff were so kind. The guides were awesome. Gave us unforgettable memories of dozens of beautiful animals and lots of interesting facts and real/life stories. The food - meals and breakfasts - delicious. We loved everything. Everything was very clean, both the tents and the common areas.

Situated in Manyeleti Game Reserve, Buffelshoek Tented Camp offers a garden and barbecue. Sabi Sand Game Reserve is 34 km away. Free private parking is available on site. No fences around this camp so animals are literally at your doorstep. Food was remarkable and the game drives go up really close to the animals. Very kind people and comfortable accommodation.
