If you wish to escape the city noise or to just recharge and get some reading/writing done. This is a good spot. Nice walking trails around the area as well. 10/10 for sure

Fabulous restaurants and cafes in walking distance. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was gorgeous. Staff were so friendly and helpful. A special thank you to Diana who was an absolute delight.

Our host, Alet, could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. He was very friendly and happy to answer our questions and queries. The isolated location was just what we were looking for. The safari tent was well kitted out and the supply of wood perfect for fuelling the braai and hot tub. Alet even gave us fresh dry wood when our pile got very soggy due to torrential rain!

These tented suites feature a private wooden deck and an en suite bathroom with an indoor and outdoor shower. Garden Route Safari Camp offers a fantastic story and purpose- restoring the original nature so the fantastic animals ( lions, giraffes, rhinos, hippos etc) once again can thrive in their natural environment. The staff and guides are just wonderful and they will do the outmost to make your stay at Garden Route Safari Camp special and personalised. We did the Sundowner and Early Bird game and it was worth doing them both as they offer different experiences. We will always remember to drink our hot chocolate with the grazing rhinos close by or have a wonderful GT while admiring the lions. Hartenbos Private Game Lodge is a privately-owned escape set in the malaria-free region of Hartenbos, Mossel Bay situated on the Garden Route. Stunning view from the tent and from the lodge. The safari trips were exceptional!

Featuring views of the Swartberg Mountains, each bush tent has its own open-air hot tub. There are coffee/tea facilities, plugs and in/outside lights, electric blankets, and a deck area. This stay was exceptional. From the views of town to the service of the staff. We had an amazing stay. It was our grans birthday and they made such an effort to comfort her and make her feel special. The dinner they made was amazing. I will be dreaming of this for years. They had everything you needed, heated blankets, wine and spectacular views. My gran has mobility issues and they changed the rooms for us to be more suitable for her. They even checked up on her when we went out for the morning.
