The hotel exceeded my expectations, the staff was very nice. The room was so cozy and great, it felt better and secure than most I've been. Being so close to the ski lift was so great and it's right next to the shops and main street. I had the room with fantastic views of Aiguille Du Midi, loved to wake up and seeing that.

The structures are ancient but the amenities, including nice firm bed with fluffy duvet, modern and very comfortable. Fun to watch the property's pair of donkeys grazing as we sipped Beaujolais wine on the terrace. Easy drive to medieval villages in Ain, including nearby Pérouges, and Beaujolais wine route. Lovely nearby restaurants (in Joyeux and Versailleux) serving local specialties for dinner, just a few minutes' drive away. Shaded by tall, mature walnut trees, it offered the perfect space to unwind with a book or simply enjoy the sounds of nature. Whether you’re sipping coffee in the morning or watching the sunset in the evening, the garden is a peaceful haven for relaxation and quiet moments. We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking calm, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality in a beautiful rural setting.
