The relaxed beach vibe was exactly how we wanted to end our trip. The food was delicious and the pool was refreshing. The beach has white sand, granite boulders and clear water...perfect. We will be back.

Eddie and Danny were very friendly and welcoming and made me feel at home during my stay. Eddie prepared some very nice breakfasts for me. He also has a resto on the beach where you can have lunch and dinner for a reasonable price. I stayed in a double room for 4 nights and it was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the room had good AC and wifi. The homestay is a 10 min walk from the beach and the main strip of warungs and restos.

Thanks to communication, the gm andre, security that helpt me every time with the stroler. And to the service in the lounge she just works there for 4 months but her service was great. Taman Simalem Resort was one of the highlights of our trip to Sumatra! We stayed for just one night in the Waterfall Superior Room, but it left such a lasting impression. Initially, we thought the price was a bit steep, but once we arrived, we completely understood—it’s worth every penny. The resort is massive and immaculately maintained. You truly feel like you’ve stepped into another world. We especially loved how green and natural everything was, with their own coffee and tea plantations. The produce was fantastic—we even brought some English Breakfast tea home, and I can’t recommend it enough! We also LOVED the breakfast! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The room was spacious, and the bed was incredibly large and cozy. The restaurant in the Waterfall Bungalows area was absolutely charming, and the food was excellent. If you’re looking for a serene escape surrounded by nature, this resort is a must-visit!
