From the time we initially pulled up to the valet, everything was uphill from there. The valet attendants were all very pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Same for both bell captains, excellent! The front desk, the George, the location were ALL top-notch. Although that was our first time staying at the Durango, it certainly will not be our last time. In fact, we've already said we will be coming back next year for our annual Jazz Festival. We also shared our experience with several friends, and they will stay there as well. Thank you for a WONDERFUL experience!

They upgraded us to a lake view room. It was amazing. Beautifully designed hotel, lovely artwork and friendly staff. Bedroom was very large and super comfy beds. We had a fireplace and large bath. Food at Brooks Bar was amazing and we loved the whole ambience of the entire hotel. Good location on edge of the main area in south lake tahoe.

Quiet luxury property, close to the action, but you can escape the crazy for a moment and it’s a breath of fresh air. The bar and restaurant are excellent, the service is perfect. The weekend brunch is not to be missed

Very well kept, exceptionally clean. Just an in/out overnight stay so did not use the washer/dryer or the kitchen at all.
