As a quite regular visitor to the Camargue I was keen to find a rural location as an alternative to hotels. This setting and its activities surpassed my hopes by a mile. Also provided a useful location with easy access to the region. The accommodation was very pleasant and the staff friendly and helpful.

Alain was a great host, very friendly and welcoming. Although we stayed only for one night it felt like we were part of the family - a glass of rosé included :) the room was generously sized with nice high ceilings, and had everything you needed. Furniture is slightly dated but not a problem as still comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the setting is marvelous!

We stayed at Mas D’Alivon for a week in early August with our 11-year-old daughter and had a wonderful time. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming – truly a great host. The gîte was comfortable, with air conditioning, a good bed, and a nice shower. Outside, we had a lovely terrace overlooking the peaceful garden filled with olive and fruit trees. A perfect place to relax. There’s also a small pool that’s great for cooling off. The location is ideal: quiet and rural, but still close to Arles, Nîmes, and Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer – perfect for a trip to the sea or exploring the Camargue. Bonus points for the cozy bar with local craft beers, the option for breakfast, and the warm, family-friendly atmosphere. One tip: the location on Google Maps is slightly off – use these coordinates to find it easily: 43.5832077, 4.4597703. Highly recommended!

One of the best places we stayed in France. We had a lovely balcony, a fabulous bathroom with really nice products, we borrowed the bikes and saw the area very comfortably. The breakfast was wonderful. Home made jams and get the 3 minute egg! Perhaps the best reason to stay is the wonderful proprietors, they are very nice, give you great advice and share with you. An excellent stay.
