I had a very relaxing and enjoyable couple of days at X Palace. The location is to my liking because it is in a very quiet residential part of town and I had a lovely interrupted view of Tbilisi Cathedral from my room and balcony. There is a bus stop a 5 minute walk from the guest house but I used taxis as they are cheap and reliable on yandex go. The hotel is super clean in all areas which shows the dedication of the owner and staff who are relatives of the owner. There is a lovely yard with tables and a communal kitchen where guests can make coffee, tea etc. I tasted village honey and was given homemade cake by the friendly owner. Guests can wash clothes for only 5 GEL which is a very reasonable rate and is very helpful for travellers. I bought 1 liter of their village wine (it is from the Kakheti region in Eastern Georgia) and I must say it is one of the best young wines I had in my life (it costs only 20 GEL which is 200% - 250% less than what I would pay for similar quality wine in South Italy except the wine at X Palace is truly magnificent and better!

ANNA was a lovely experience! Check-in was smooth and easy. The ladies who own the apartment are absolutely fantastic and easy to contact, and the location is great, close to the metro. We booked both rooms at once, and it was really ideal - we were quite happy with this option. We hope to visit again someday!
