The owner is the sweetest guy who will help you in any way he can. The place is amazing, best hot shower he had in Sumatra. The room is large and the beds are so comfy and the balcony is large with an amazing view. Best place we stayed in sumatra.

Amazing guesthouse, highly recommended to stay here during your stay in Tuktuk The staff is very friendly and helpful, they made our stay here amazing and their dog Lucky is so cute The rooms are well furnished (bed, side table, kettle, laundry rack, cupboard, chair, etc) The balcony is very nice with an amazing view Hot water in the bathroom which is also huge with soap available Water refill available It is quiet at night Note at the moment there is no restaurant but there are so many around so you will find something to eat

I had an amazing stay at Marbun, the room was very comfortable and spotless, and the location is ideal. There are many options for food and scooter / bicycle hire within walking distance, and the Marbun restaurant downstairs does especially good food. Boon was an amazing host who made me feel very comfortable and was excellent in advising where to go on the island. He also took me on a tour of Samosir and the surroundings on a scooter which was beautiful. I booked 3 nights here but stayed for a week, it is so beautiful and rich in culture.
