Johnson is very friendly and accommodating. The room is exactly as shown. Anyone wanting to stay with a family in their home while in India should choose Johnson. Really helpful setting up day trips - shikara, canoe, kayaking, houseboat. The AC was an absolute blessing! Delicious breakfast.

I adored the open area's natural breeze that made my evenings so relaxed and comfy. The historic architecture and lovingly preserved details make you feel like you've stepped into another era! My room was incredibly comfortable and spotlessly clean, offering a wonderful blend of past comforts and modern hospitality. The service provided by Robin & Rion was outstanding! They were so warm, genuinely attentive, and went out of their way to share the fascinating history of the house. This is the perfect stay if you are looking for time in nature and the backwaters. Room is comfortable, clean, and with AC - so you can relax perfectly in the room. The balcony is great too and offers direct view on the littler river. The host Lizza is kind and fun, always there to help, Plan trips, cook food for you. The whole house is so beautiful, so you will enjoy having breakfast/dinner on the long table in the Main hall. This place seems suitable for anyone: alone-traveller, backpackers, couples, familys with kids. They have a garden to hang out too! And best part: its only 10sec walk to the starting point of your boat trip (Lizza will arrange)! Then you can discover lakes, big rivers, small rivers and village life in the backwaters. Ask Lizza for a TukTuk (Autoriksha) drive through the little streets through this area, so you will see more small rivers with plants, more village life, rice plantages and local life :) This is the place to be! Its perfect for taking a walk too :) Thanks Lizza!

The host is really friendly and really kind, even picks you up from bus or train station or drives you there by scooter if possible Small kitchen and fridge are available to use for people who like to cook themselves. Also free drinking water from a big 20 liter bottle is available which the host buys and renews when it's empty. Next door is otherwise a small traditional Indian restaurant. An Indian family cooking traditional Indian homemade foods which they are offering there Location is 2 minutes to walk to the beach

The location of the hotel is near the railway station. The street is quite busy street but I booked the room with a terrace overlooking the garden which was very quiet. The room was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. Great value for money option in Allapuzha. I will definitely stay there again next time I visit Allapuzha.

A "nest" in the center, not far from the beach. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. The room is simple, but comfortable and clean! The atmosphere is zen and pleasant, exactly what I was looking for. I really enjoyed my stay at this place and highly recommend it 😀
