We stayed three nights at Nature Beach Huts and from the moment of the booking to our leave everything was fantastic! Brenda took so good care of us! We got the best route to get to the hotel via WhatsApp, got sight-seeing suggestions and Brenda was open for all of our questions. The Huts are made with so much love for detail. The close by beach is small but the water is wonderful. Separated from the oceans by a ring of stones, the laguna is 60 cm deep max and it’s so warm! Brenda is a fantastic cook. We stayed in for breakfast and dinner. We did a tour through Trincomalee with her brother as well as a nightly jungle walk. Both was really interesting and he explained a lot about Hindu temples and the wildlife.

Pleasant Park Holiday Inn was exactly that - pleasant! The room was even better than in the pictures and I was surprised with the cleanliness of it. The staff was very approachable and not obtrusive. We had a wonderful stay at SGA for Pets Lover! Prashant is incredibly kind and helpful—his availability and hospitality made all the difference during our stay. What truly makes this place special is his amazing project to rescue stray dogs and cats, especially females. You’ll find many sweet animals around the property, and for us, that was the best part. It’s clear how proud Prashant is of what he’s doing, and we were proud to support him too. The guesthouse is just a 5-minute walk from the beach and about 15 minutes from Trincomalee—super convenient. The shower had hot water with great pressure, the room was clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. What else can I say? If you love animals, this is the place for you. Right next door you’ll find Mom’s Kitchen, their family restaurant—probably the best and most affordable food in Uppuveli. Don’t miss the Rice & Curry buffet!

A perfect couple of days staying at this wonderful new property in Uppeveli. The room was very spacious and light, the mattress and bed were really comfortable, the bathroom is also wonderfully soacious with 2 very good showers. Beyond the bedrooms, there are plenty of more communal spaces (currently no seating, but you can easily take the chair from your bedroom out here) and a wonderful veranda surrounding the whole of the 1st floor. The host is incredibly kind and helpful, and is able to arrange tours with his contacts if you would like. Location wise, it is down a quiet lane just off the main road, making it easy to access yet remarkably peaceful. You can access the beach a 5 minute walk away, which is perfectly okay if you would like to go for a beach walk or watch a gorgeous sunrise with the locals out on their finishing boats. Beyond that, just a 5 minute Tuktuk ride away is Fernando’s bar, which has a lively beach bar feel, catering for any kind of food, with hammocks and sun loungers under the palms, and beach parties every night. 5 minutes in the other direction from the hotel is Trincomalee, allowing you to see the more cultural side of the area. All in all, this great new property is great value, in the ideal location to explore the areas easily, and with a host who bends over backwards to accommodate you- if you are looking for a place to stay near Trincomalee, this is the place to go.

So pleased to have stumbled on to this place. It's newly set up, quiet and yet right in the midst of things. Only a short walk to the beach and many great eating places so close by and yet such a relaxing peaceful place. A welcoming family who are very helpful in organising anything you need. The place is very clean, rooms and bathrooms well thought out, great aircon, good soundproofing. What I particularly liked was the sitting area outside the rooms open to the sun but well fanned and super comfy sofas. The many plants and pictures add the relaxing atmosphere. There is also tea and coffee making facilities in this space. This place is a great find, suits young and older couples well. Sunbreeze deserves every success.

Central location....food outlets, bank atm, supermarket and train station close by. Also nice beach nearby which we did not visit due to lack of time. Basic but functional rooms in quiet environment. Host arranged tuk to rail station Rs 300. Overall pleasant stay and great value for money.
