The yard is stunning with a mountains view and many corners to sit, play, enjoy. There is also a lovely pool in the yard which we enjoyed very much. The breakfast is rich and delicious. Close to the charming city Gmunden and many other beautiful places to visit. We really enjoyed and regretted only coming here for one night.

Haus Edelweiss está en Obertraun, a 5,1 km de Museum Hallstatt, y dispone de alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. We stayed in Obertruan for 3N in late June 2025 as we read that it was still pretty, but quieter and cheaper than Hallstatt. It was an excellent choice indeed! We enjoyed our stay very much at Haus Edelweiss, an apartment with a separate bedroom that was 35 sq.mtrs, very comfortable size for 3. We walked easily from the train station to the apartment. It has a toilet with 3-in-1 shampoo/body/hand liquid gel, a fridge, electric stove, utensils, pots/pans. It has everything you need, everything is new and very clean, totally no dust! Love the coffee capsules and variety of teas provided. Host Nina is very sweet & helpful, taking the time to explain with a map where and how we could go to the places around Obertruan. We spent one day walking from Obertruan to Hallstatt. Along the way, we saw this stone path going up the hill and we went up (very do-able hike), and it led to a very beautiful view of Hallstatt! We then went down the other way and continued walking towards Hallstatt, explored the beautiful village and took the ferry (Euro 12/pax) back to Obertruan. Next day, we walked a loop from Obertruan to Koppenwinlsee. The walk was very lovely and we saw tiny red strawberries everywhere! There was a restaurant after Koppenwinslee but I think it was closed on Mon-Wed (please check), and other days open for lunch & dinner, so time yourself to make it in time for lunch/dinner. We were stopping so often to admire the scenery that we missed their lunch time! It is better to visit during non-summer to enjoy Austria. Also, many of the reasonably priced apartments do not have air-con including Haus Edelweiss, and those we stayed in Innsbruck & Zell Am See. At night the temperature will plunge so it is fine without an aircon, but you might get occasional traffic noise if the apartment is close to the road, so just bring along your ear plugs.

We loved everything! Beautiful hosts, property, location, and breakfast. Truthfully, we did not want to leave!

El Apartments im LOIDLs GUESTHOUSE se encuentra en el centro histórico de Traunkirchen, a orillas del lago Traunsee, y ofrece jardín y WiFi gratuita. The house consists of multiple apartments of different sizes. We were on the lower level, and in spite of concerns it would be cold during our winter stay it was very warm. In fact, the apartment is heated from floors, which means your feet stay warm too. Besides that… Kitchen is well equipped. Apartment is very clean and modern. Bathroom has new and high quality faucets. Traunkirchen is a very beautiful destination with a dozen of trails for hiking. The hosts were friendly. Unfortunately, we broke some glasses because it was a big company, but this was resolved in a very reputable manner. We would come back again!

Beautiful area, friendly hostess, good breakfast with a nice variety of everything. The room was spacious, and the view from the balcony was amazing! We had dinner at a fantastic restaurant only 4 minutes away by car, Zenz'n Stub'n, if you stay at Haus Helene don't miss this restaurant!

B&B Simmer se encuentra en Obertraun, a 5,3 km de Museum Hallstatt, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y terraza. It’s a nice small place in a very quiet location . Both Heidi and her husband were very nice and helpful, they also made breakfast for us at 7am since needed to check out early. The property is very nice and clean and the couple also run a rental bicycle place right next door

Landhaus Seereith está en Faistenau, a 25 km de Estación Central de Salzburgo, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. La vista sobre el lago es espectacular. Y en el interior el gusto por los detalles y la estética también. Un 10!
