She’s also the cook and we would slurp up everything she prepares. The calm and serene vibe this accommodation gives makes one wants to stay longer :) our first day we did a night walk of Simatai section Great Wall that included the cable car (expensive! But enjoyable)… second day we hiked up the wild Great Wall. I felt this pace was slow and lovely for my younger children.

The reception staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. We would recommend this stay for people who are backpacking or only need a few nights stay. There are washing machines and a tumble dryer on site which is very useful and the staff will take out the washing for you if you go out for the day. The location is a big plus point to this hotel with Lamas temple a short walk away, restaurants, coffee shops, casual bars and a metro stop. There is facilities to make up some easy food if you wanted to. The room itself is a satisfactory size.

The location is another highlight—just a short walk to local restaurants, charming cafés, boutiques, a mall, and even the Forbidden City. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy, well-designed stay in a convenient and lively area.
