I had a wonderful stay and a great travel experience thanks to the amazing owner. 1. They offered a pick-up service, which was very convenient since private cars are not allowed inside the old town. 2. We received plenty of restaurant coupons, maps, and travel tips. 3. There was no push to upsell services, but whenever we needed something, the owner provided a perfect solution at a very fair price. 4. The house is well-maintained, full of character, and has a rich historical charm. 5. After we checked out, we still had several hours before our train, and they kindly offered us a place to rest. I would definitely come back again if I have the chance!

This is a family-run hotel with the whole family pitching in. They were delightful and keen to be helpful with lots of cups of tea, advice and assistance with purchasing tickets. It felt like I was staying with friends. Very little english, but fearless with using translation apps. Very thoughtful - gave me a bottle of water for the train home after dropping me at the station. The standout for this property was the staff. I wish them every success with their business.

About 10 minutes' drive from Pingyao Railway Station, Pingyao Xinglongyi Inn offers affordable accommodation for travellers. Free WiFi is provided throughout the entire property. We have never slept in a higher quality bedding! The receptionist is extremely helpful. She even helped with train and attractions booking for other locations. The courtyard is cozy, and there are tables and chairs for hanging out.
