The guesthouse is a nice old house with everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped. Everything is very clean. The owner, Senora Mayela, is a treasure as well, a warm-hearted person. She took the best care of me, and our conversations were delightful! If you need a cozy place to stay in downtown San Jose, look no further. This is it! Thank you, senora Mayela, for everything!

It's a large, neat colonial house (bungalow style). All rooms are private with bathroom and arranged around a very lush courtyard. It's spacious and well-kept, fully a equipped kitchen and a Peri grocery store at the corner. Lots of couches and books to read. The host doesn't live on site but is super friendly and responsive. There's a bus stop at the corner with plenty of busses bringing you to the center. Overall, it's the comfort of a hotel with the convenience of a hostel.

Lolas Hostal, Habitacion Exclusiva para Mujeres, 2 camarotes, precio por cama nabízí pokoje v destinaci San José. It's done very nicely and the environment feels welcoming. Very short walk from the Tracopa bus station. The kitchen is well-equipped and tidy. The hostel was like a treat after a long trip from Panama. I also had a dorm for myself for that night so I rested a lot. Thank you!

The place is a guesthouse inside a condo which makes a safer and extremely quiet place. Very clean, comfortable and he breakfast was great. So do the two cats... I did not use public transport because Uber was very affordable but it is close to a main street with buses to the city center. Besides, though it is not in the city center, it is just 10 minutes by Uber. I strongly recommend.

Magical house :) Equipped (especially the kitchen) with everything you may need (even umbrellas available in the room in case of rain). There was ceramic machine to filter water. There are two places to sleep - one on the ground floor with separate entrance and wordrobe inside and good lighting to read a book and many shelfs/hangers. White/red wines in the room (extra charge 20$). In the room you may find sort of guide-book with description of the place and nearby attracions. Tarace with nice view on the garden with airmchairs, coffeetable and barchairs. Next to the entrance there was hamak and picnic table. Great thing was small shower where you could clean your shoes. Short trails around the garden to see e.g. small waterfalls. Super swimmingpool with shower, deckchairs, toilet and bar nearby, The host was great - he gave us a hint to watch turtles on the nearby beach.

Moderní Sleep Inn Hotel Paseo Las Damas se nachází naproti parku España a muzeu moderního umění a nabízí kasino, posilovnu a zónu s bezplatným Wi-Fi. Everything. The fact that it is right next to Casino Colonial is fantastic as it is the best casino in San Jose by far. I have stayed here many times and will always come back.
