A rich buffet breakfast is available each morning. There is also a recreation room where guests can enjoy Weltenburger beer specialities that were brewed in the oldest monastery brewery in the world. There is also a traditional Klosterschenke lounge with a beer garden. The position is amazing, the room very spacious with a fantastic view of the Danube and the breakfast buffet healthy and energetic. There is storage for bikes and a cafeteria with all the Weltenburger beers (and choice of cold/hot drinks), perfect option after 7pm, when the monastery Beergarten closes.

This family-friendly guest house is quietly located in Enkering, just 2 km from Kinding, in the heart of the Altmühl Valley. Gästehaus Lehr offers a large garden with outdoor seating area, a pavilion and barbecue facilities. The stay was exceptional — hosts Bianca and Jürgen were very forthcoming in accommodating any of our requests, gave us all the information we needed about the stay and the location (even on topics we hadn’t thought to ask about), and were, all in all, very pleasant people. I think it's also almost impossible to find anything better in terms of value for money during summer in the area. We stayed there to be in the countryside near Roth and to do some running, riding, and swimming — and the location was perfectly suited for all that, with everything within a 10 km radius. Kinding is a quiet and peaceful place in the countryside, yet still only a 30-minute drive from Roth. The breakfast was a continental-style one, with tasty homemade items included in the selection. The room was clean and nicely furnished, with a large balcony, a comfortable bed, and reliable Wi-Fi.
