The accommodation was a very cozy place with a small private pool for the house mates. The accommodation was super clean, and had a separate kitchen set up with Microwave, Kettle, and cooking facilities. The room was very comfortable, clean, furmished with chairs, AC, with a private toilet with shower with beautiful pool View. There were towels in the bathroom, but make sure you carry your own toiletaries as the accommodation provided only hand wash and tissues. The location of this property is around 3Kms from the Luxor Temple or the City centre, however, it was worth the price. We recommend staying in Sofia Guest House instead of choosing an expensive accommodation just for the location near city centre (hotels will be too small or very expensive). You can commute to places by booking your ride through an App - suggested by our host Sir, Mr. Mohammad called “InDrive” for a cheaper price rather than an expensive ride with out side taxis. Bargaining with drivers for a ride can be exhausting at times in any city in Egypt, but In Drive works cheaper as well as the App works just like Uber or Ola. This accommodation has a cute cat called Beeka in their sitting area can be an add-On for animal lovers. They have Shisha pots, and drink Menu in case you need any. Go for it, we highly recommend this accommodation. Love from India 🇮🇳

We had an excellent stay at Karina Guest House! One of the highlights was the amazing food—fresh, organic Egyptian dishes lovingly prepared by Mohamed. Every meal was a treat! The rooftop view was absolutely stunning—you could see the Valley of the Kings and watch the hot air balloons rising in the early morning. A truly magical experience. We also want to thank Arafat, who provided exceptional taxi service. He made us feel safe and cared for everywhere we went—more than just a driver, he was a true host. The neighborhood experience was another unforgettable part of our stay. We had the chance to spend time with local families on their farms. The kids especially loved riding donkeys and horses, feeding goats, and getting a glimpse into rural Egyptian life. This stay was warm, authentic, and full of heart. Highly recommended!

Amazing value for money and very friendly staff. The garden is so eccentric and full of really interesting things, and the cats are super cute! The breakfast and dinner are definitely satisfying.

Run by a really friendly couple who went out of their way to welcome us. The rooms are mini apartments with comfortable furnishing and bed, fully equipped kitchens, TV and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was amazing, fresh local produce and plenty of it. They have a nice quiet rooftop area with a small pool The area is tucked away in a local residential area but very central - just around the corner from the large hotels like Iberotel and Winter palace and less than 5 minutes walk to the riverfront. The hosts can be arrange taxis and trips for you

CASA LOKO Guest House se nachází v destinaci Luxor a poskytuje venkovní bazén, zahradu, terasu, bar a výhled na město. Na místě je dostupné Wi-Fi zdarma. I stayed at CASA LOKO for two nights, but I honestly wish I could have stayed much longer! We had a great experience, the room was excellent, the pool was very nice, and the highlight was definitely the amazing terrace where we watched a beautiful sunset. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. They even came to pick us up when we were in a difficult situation, and they always did their best to help us with anything we needed. If I ever come back to Luxor, I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended! 10/10

Medinet Habu Temple je 800 metrů daleko. everything ; the kindness of the owner and the staff, their availability for us. regarding the rooms, they have all what ones need ; the beds are comfortable and the bathroom met our needs. food : the owner cooks 'with love' ; everybody eats the same and it's always excellent ! ask whatever you want and you'll get it. The fact that you meet a lot of people from different cultures , origins is great They all care about all what you need and make your dreams come true :-)

This is an incredible value for the price as you’ll stay in a modern, clean APARTMENT with living room, full fridge, kitchen and bathroom apart from the bedroom. Bedroom has AC and other areas have a fan, which was fine. Top notch service from Ibrahim, Mustafa and others. We felt they are the most honest people we’ve met in Egypt and didn’t try to scam us even once. Ibrahim even told us how much things ought to cost in town and what scams to avoid. They offer fair prices for tours, food, transportation and other services and were always willing to help up run errands or even take care of our baby a few minutes so we could eat breakfast peacefully. Speaking of breakfast, it was delicious and plentiful every day, unlike in other budget hotels we’ve been at in Egypt. Take their transportation from the airport as you’ll be ripped off or unable to find a taxi like us! Uber doesn’t work like in Cairo and taxi prices are much higher in Luxor. Definitely choose West Bank for a rural feel and daily Nile crossings which we loved!
