We had such an amazing stay at JJ’s. We originally booked for three days but ended up extending for another three because we loved it so much. JJ and his family/staff are all very kind and friendly — they made us feel so at home in their beautiful slice of the world. Elephantine Island is very relaxed and has a lovely local feel (a very nice change from Aswan city and the rest of Egypt!). That said, you’re only a two-minute ferry from the mainland which was super easy and we went in most nights for dinner. We booked a tour to Abu Simbel through JJ which saved us from having to think about logistics of getting there ourselves 🙌🏼 we ended up being the first group there for the day so got some amazing photos and we’re back in the guesthouse by 1pm. Also the included breakfast was incredibly generous. Everyday we had fresh juice, eggs, bread, salad, cheese, fruit salad, jam & honey. Honestly amazing value and cooked with love. Plus the view from the rooftop (where breakfast is served) is beautiful, looking over the Nile. Our room also had an amazing view of the river. Honestly I can’t rave enough about this place. We feel so happy to have stumbled upon JJ Guesthouse and are leaving with some very special memories ✨🩷

The people working in the hotel were really kind and friendly and helped me with everything. They helped me get a trip to Abu Simbel and even packaged me a breakfast for it, because the trip started so early. The room was very quiet, peaceful and clean.

The room gave us the flexibility to visit the temples of Abu Simbel after the visitors from Aswan had disappeared!! Excellent location: About 15 - 20mins walk to the temples. There were ATMs and a few shops close by too Comfortable and quiet room: A bit of a rarity in Egypt! Exceptionally friendly host! Ashraf was always on hand to assist, offer advice or just generally check in and make sure that we are okay! Ashraf also connected us with a private driver to handle the connection between Aswan and Abu Simbel.

Nuba Heart se nachází v destinaci Asuán a nabízí pokoje s klimatizací a s bezplatným Wi-Fi. We had a great stay and felt very welcomed in Nuba Heart. Lovely staff who were always attentive and have always went above and beyond helping us with everything - from organizing our tours to preparing us breakfast. We also recommend the dinner which is very tasty and plenty of serving. The fish plus the spicy sauce on our last night was really good. Midian, one of the staff, and now our new friend, will make you feel safe and at home. he toured us around the neighbourhood with his friends where we had a true authentic Nubian experience. Definitely the highlight of our trip to Aswan. The owner was also very kind and made sure we were always looked after. Overall, we loved our time!

Abu and the staff (Abu's family) is very friendly and always available and helpful (giving advices). We also recommend the excursions that they are proposing: visit of Botanic garden, tombs of nobles, Nubian village. The Elephantine island is a quiet place that we liked very much. Thanks to Abu for his hospitality. We felt like at home.

The house including common areas and the room was very nice, clean, and cozy. Location is just perfect with beautiful view for the corso and the town. The ferry service was excellent, easy to use. Mohammed was very nice, he offered us trips that were well organized, like for example to Abu Simbel and to Philae Temple. The island has a great atmosphere with local shops and restaurants. Better to stay here than on the other side of the river. The Nubian houses were beautiful. We felt the people’s hospitality. If any would like to be immerse in the local culture, this place is perfect for it. We arrived as a couple and we only had great experiences.
