Guests are warmly welcomed by Joaquin (hopefully I didn't butcher his name). The hostel feels super inviting right from the start. Located on a dead-end street with free public parking nearby, it's incredibly convenient. Rooms and the terrace are both surprisingly spacious and well-equipped. Everything is sparkling clean too. The whole place has this cool maritime theme, like a big ship, which is quite charming. Location-wise, it can't be beat. Super close to all the amazing beaches but also shopping, dining and bar-hopping in the area. To top it off, they even have a delicious little breakfast with good coffee and fresh juices, even though it wasn't advertised anywhere. Considering the price, location, and overall experience, this place deserves a perfect 10/10. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and affordable stay in San José.

The host was incredibly helpful, so responsive and was very detailed oriented. She was so sweet and accommodating, I will miss her. She really made my experience here and couple of very special.

The room was great with an amazing view of the ocean and marina. It's a short walk to San Jose Beach and restaurants, shops, etc. The staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

This peaceful accommodation is located just 150 metres from the beach in Agua Amarga, in the Cabo de Gata Natural Park. It offers a spa and 2 outdoor pools surrounded by loungers. Large room with sea view, amazing breakfast, hotel comfortable and peaceful. Angelique is wonderful, she makes the stay even better! All in all a great place to relax and unwind.

Hostal Sol Bahía San José is 200 metres from San José Beach, which is in Cabo de Gata-Níjar Nature Reserve. It offers free Wi-Fi and air-conditioned rooms with flat-screen TV. Excellent value and staff is very friendly. Great location.

Hostal El Dorado has a quiet setting in San José, a 5-minute walk from the beach. The hotel offers an outdoor pool and rooms with a private balcony or terrace. ​ We loved that the room had a terrace offering a spectacular sea view. The bed was so comfortable, ensuring we had a fantastic night's sleep. A great detail was the small, quiet fridge. Although we didn't get a chance to use it, the hostel also had a nice pool. The room was tidy and the location was perfect: it was quiet, not far from the main street, and its position on the hill provided a beautiful panoramic view.

I arrived soaking wet from driving through the rain and the friendly receptionist, Alba, gave me access to my room right away, even though it was hours before the check-in time. I could take a nice hot shower to warm up and hang up my clothes to dry. There is a clothes drying rack in the room, which was very convenient. Alba was very helpful also providing information about what to do. The room is a good size, modern and has a great shower. The location is great for exploring Cabo de Gata. Next door is a Mexican restaurant with great food.
