Hostal Central Palace Madrid is the only guest house located in the Plaza de Oriente square, opposite the Royal Palace. It is 200 metres from Opera Metro Station and 10 minutes’ walk from Puerta del Sol. We stayed in this hostal in 3 separate occasions from October to November as we used Madrid as our base while we travelled to other locations in Spain. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff is very helpful, welcoming and accommodating most especially Jose and Alina who always gave us excellent and timely service and made us feel very much at home. The location of the hostal is very central, near the sights and good restaurants and we felt very safe there.

Yep! - Even though the hotel is only a 7-min walk from 'Grand Via', it is located in a very quiet, peaceful street... - There's a Japanese restaurant and a 'Poké Bowl' (delicious) restaurant next door. There are tons of places where you can eat out in this neighborhood.
