I could go on and on about how lovely this historic building was. The suites are spacious, and quiet, and private. The kitchens in them are well-stocked with coffee, tea, and other essentials for cooking. Staff was gracious, and helped me figure out an issue with the old door locks I was having. The wifi was speedy, and the beds were comfy. It's also inside a gift shop so you can look around at things if you like. It's very near the center of town, so you can walk to the supermarket and other attractions I was there on business to attend.

The room was very clean and spacious — since it was an apartment-style accommodation, it felt almost too generous for just one person. It was incredibly comfortable and would be perfect for a longer stay as well. What stood out the most was the kindness of the host. Before arriving, I slipped on some icy snow and got a deep cut on my arm. The host kindly treated my injury, and I was genuinely touched by such thoughtfulness. I’ve never met a host as kind and caring as this. The location was excellent — just a 10-minute walk to the city center, yet the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, allowing me to rest well at night. There was no restaurant or breakfast service, but a supermarket was only five minutes away on foot, which made things very convenient. There’s also a McDonald's nearby — the famous one that used to be the northernmost one in the world, which was a fun little detail to discover. If I ever visit this city again, I’d definitely love to stay here once more. Highly recommended!
