Being tucked away with just a couple of horses for neighbours, in a stylish and immaculately clean studio, a stones throw from the heathland was perfect. We were asked about dietary requirements in advance and just hoped we might get some nondairy milk, we got so much more - mushrooms, bread, jam, marmite, plant based butter (not marg), cereal, granola, berries, orange juice, tea and coffee and all good quality (Waitrose). Honestly excellent :)

A lovely big comfy bed, good facilities and in a secluded and peaceful setting next to the main house. Good communications beforehand with Debbie and a really delicious breakfast of warm pastries, yogurt, granola, fresh fruit etc was waiting for us on the doorstep in the morning. We originally planned to leave first thing in the morning to travel on to friends in the West Country but ended up delaying our journey by a couple of hours as it was so lovely being in the cabin!

Absolutely amazing little place. The little chalets out the back of the pub are so cute & comfortable!!! Had a really amazing & romantic stay. The power outage and the use of candles & the fire in the pub added to the romantic atmosphere!!! The shower is amazing with the choice of rainfall or regular head. The bed is super comfy. Love the little outdoor area that you can sit and have a drink or order food to your room. It was a bit cold for us to do that but was nice to have a private little area to sit. As it is a cricket themed pub, very much enjoyed all the cricket memorabilia and golf statues outside every room!! We had breakfast in the pub the next morning!! Either continental or hot breakfast menu choices. We went the full English & Vege breakfasts which were yummy!!! Again fire was going so it was lovely sitting by the fire to eat our breakfast before having to return to reality!!!
