We stayed for one night (but I wish we’d stayed for two nights at least). Porto Kagio is a very small intimate charming little village stretched across the beach of a small cove. A wonderful getaway spot with stunning views on the approach. The owner Panayioti was kind and generous, offering to help with our bags then bringing us coffee on our patio. Our room was charming and well appointed, with a cupboard, a desk, a suitcase rack, and a little fridge. Clean with a comfortable bed. We had a patio with a sea view and we were a short stroll to the beach. Breakfast was served on the top floor patio although the owner offered to serve us on our patio. Breakfast itself was fine although myself I would have liked some fresh fruit too. We did an easy walk around to the point where there is a little church and a stunning view back to the cove. We ate fresh and perfectly cooked fish at Taverna Porto right on the beach. An enjoyable time altogether.

The rooms are well equipped and provide anything needed for a comfortable stay. The owner Mr Petrounis answered all our questions before and during our stay, and suggested tavernas, bars and beaches. Listen to his recommendations. Opposite the hotel, there is an old bakery, where you can have a morning breakfast and watch how they prepare bread in an old traditional oven. Also, the hotel is a great choice if you come by car. Just put the navigation to the free city parking, and the hotel is just 50 meters away.

Sofia is a wonderful lovely host. The house is filled with flowers. Our room had 2 balconies with great view. The kitchen is well equipped. Sofia showed me how to make Greek coffee, so we got to try it for our breakfast. Fun experience.

The people running the place are really kind, helpful, and friendly! The room has a balcony which overlooks both the sea and the mountains. The beds are comfortable, the shower/toilet is spacious. Excellent, and would recommend it to anyone, and would definitely stay again!

Wonderful owners and wonderful fortified castle! Great rooms! The breakfast was definitely one of the best in whole Greece and all services very personalized. The views were astonishing.
