This guest house is located at a peaceful location with beautiful surroundings. Tangmarg market and main road were nearby. Drung Waterfall was just nearby. Since we visited during extreme cold, they provided us with every necessary for survival. Heater, blower, gas operated heater, geyser, inverter facility, extra blanket, hot bag, bonfire and even kangdi. Home-made food , hot coffee and warm drinking water made our stay even more comfortable. The owner took us for village tour and to the Drung waterfall on his own vehicle. And the added advantage is it was all in our budget. We really loved staying at Pine Guest House. Must take the village tour with the owner. We were overwhelmed by their service. We highly recommend to stay at this property at least for a day when visiting Gulmarg. It’s a 10/10 from us.

Our stay at Meet Mansion Homestay was absolutely fantastic, I can only talk in superlatives about our experience.  Meer Mansion is a nearly brand new building, constructed with high quality materials, everything sparkles inside, everything works, there is not a spot that isn't perfect. The hotel is kept impeccably clean. Our room was beautifully furnished, and had a large luxurious comfortable bed with great pillows. The marble bathroom had stylish modern fixtures, a good shower, and plenty of hot water. The location was ideal for us, immediately next to the magical - and for us very exotic - chikara boat harbour, which is the reason we came to Dal Lake. But what made our stay one of the best experiences ever is the efficient, kind, and helpful support of the charming young manager, Danish, who outpertformed himself to make us feel good. That made the difference between a good stay and an extraordinary one. He helped in too many ways to list, things like allowing us to check in early at 9 am, organize great boat rides, hire autorickshaws, advise us on how to avoid buying counterfits, give great sightseeing tips, and even ferry us on his own boat to the other side of the lake when we need it - all of that for absolutely free. Although I booked my room only a day prior to my visit, he somehow arranged rooms at his property for another 4 nights and also arranged all the tours and transfers for us on such short notice.

The location of the hotel was a prime location. We were actually in bliss with the place and Srinagar in general. The ambience of the rooms were quite amazing. We stayed for 4 days. On day 1, we arrived at around 8:30PM. And a day prior to the Srinagar visit, they actually gave us a pointer that we’d require either a new prepaid sim or an existing postpaid network. Thanks to that reminder, we got a sim right after we arrived at the Airport

We had a brilliant stay at Bente's Lodge. Spectacular location with a view of snowcapped mountains and small streams from rooms. Rooms are spacious, with clean bathrooms and bed heater. The location is peaceful and secluded ( Tip: Google location is not accurate. Better to call the owner from the petrol pump at Pahalgam. They offer free ride to the property. This is recommended even if you come with your own vehicle). We enjoyed short walks to the river bank through the valleys. They have simple and delicious food offerings. The owner Jamshed is very cordial. They arrange for day hikes around Pehelgam with guide. We certainly hope to come back here.
