This was best experience in Iceland first of all from hospitality point of view as well as history of the place, which hosts are proud to share. This has beecome an example of how heart, love to your country, strive for perfection can transform an old farm into super modern fascility reminding you of the history of the place. Not mentioning super views on fjord and complete tranquility and quietness of the place. The highlights: - welcome - story of the place, how the renovation happenned, introduction to the concept - all that makes you much better humanly connected compared to very convenient but very 'automatic' keys pick up via safe - design and concept - made by some famous local buroe there is a clear thinking behind. We were staying in what used to be garage and each room was named after a tracktor keeping the colors, i.e. John Deere will be green room, etc. - attention to details - great common area, living room, nice messages here and there, pizza to buy should you don't want to move etc. - great location - which with all honesty get us scared as you need to get to gravel road and drive couple of kilometers in the middle of nowhere, being rewarded by the view to die for - spotless.... just spotless:) - homemade specialties - caked and jam from the family, some other local food - advise on sight-seing highlights of Snæfellsnes Highly recommend!

Todo muy nuevo/reformado. Salón con sillones muy confortables, cocina completísima, baños suficientes para las habitaciones que había. Genial la limpieza. Baños compartidos pero se podría entrar sin sandalias del buen aspecto que tenían. Las vistas de la montaña preciosas. Vimos auroras desde la casa (primera mitad de septiembre).

El Helgafell se encuentra a 6 km de Stykkishólmur y ofrece un jardín y conexión WiFi gratuita. Todas las habitaciones cuentan con TV de pantalla plana con canales por cable y baño privado. Amazing views of a lake, church, and horses. We were also greeted by and guarded by the resident dog that my kids loved!

Este establecimiento moderno, que ocupa una finca situada a 8 km de Grundarfjördur, ofrece un campo de golf de 9 hoyos, además de conexión Wi-Fi y aparcamiento gratuitos. Ubicación ideal. Nos alojamos en la cabaña y es perfecta, tiene menaje en la cocina, microondas, tetera, secador.. unas vistas maravillosas al Kirkjufell desde la ventana de la salita. El desayuno es en la casa principal pero no es un problema. Café, te, distintos panes, mantequilla, mermelada, jamón dulce, huevos... Sin duda han sido dos días inolvidables. Pudimos ver una aurora maravillosa Volvería sin duda si vuelvo por la zona. El propietario encantador

Beautiful cottage with a fully equipped kitchen. They even had an egg slicer. You have a great view to the sea, the room was cosy and the water was hot. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!

The house is very spacious and the view of the living room is excellent. I especially like the kitchen area which is well equipped and comfortable. The bedroom is clean and tidy with nice bathroom. Will recommend to friends for Iceland trip.
