Ollalai is a lovely village in Barbagia - not a region for those looking for vibrant nightlife and entertainment, but ideal for those seeking tranquility and silent nights. It is a good starting point to explore this part of Sardinia with many interesting villages. The LaPlaza is a small establishment, with very nicely furnished rooms that one would not expect in such a small place very much off the beaten tourist track. Having said that, the town boasts at least three bars, of which at least the Alto Bar can - in addition to be a popular place for the locals enjoying beer and football matches - offer delicious local food at moderate prices. It is also the place where breakfast is served, though the LaPlaza also has a very useful common kitchen/eating room with fridge, coffee machine, microwave etc. The rooms overlook the pleasant main square with the church and a small super-market. From here there is a less than hour walk to a nearby hill with an old monastery of St Basil, from where there are further mountain trails. We truly enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend LaPlaza.

The hosts Roberta and Santino are extremely kind and we had a great chat (even with my limited Italian). It's clear that every detail is considered, from the decor to the sweets provided. They are happy to help with any questions.

Harbor Rooms - Cala Gonone se nachází v destinaci Cala Gonone. Pláž Spiaggia Centrale se nachází 200 metrů daleko a Kaňon di Gorropu 26 km. The location of the room is just perfect, only a few meters from the bus station, which was very important to us since we were travelling by bus in Sardinia. Right next to the the apartment is one of the travel agencies and the main port is just around the corner, which is very convenient when you have a cruise at 8 a.m. The room is nicely decorated and new, and the bed is super comfortable. The bathroom is also very nice with a great shower. The balcony is spacious and has a great view, we really enjoyed our morning coffee watching the sunrise. The neighborhood is quiet and the evenings are very peacefull so you can have a nice sleep. Some snacks were available with the coffee and tea, which was a great touch. The host responded quickly to our messages and gave us some really good tips on cruises and restaurants. We would love to stay again in this room.

Ve městě je akvárium, je možná pěší turistika po okolí nebo pronájem člunu na celý den, což bylo úžasné. Večer se dá příjemně posedět na terase. Personál je velmi vstřícný, dokonce byla na pokoji láhev výborného vína z jejich vlastní výroby. Na pokoji je rychlovarná konvice se zásobou čajů, kávovar se zásobou kapslí a všechno potřebné nádobí. Ubytovat se dá bezobslužně, ale hostitelka vás i tak přijde osobně přivítat, je velmi milá.

Guest House DaLù se nachází v destinaci Dorgali a poskytuje fitness centrum, zahradu, sdílený lounge a terasu. Tento penzion nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi. Moc příjemný pobyt, vše bylo čisté a pohodlné. Snídaně moc dobrá. Pan majitel milý, skvělá domluva v angličtině. Děkujeme za pobyt.

We needed a comfortable and well-located accommodation to make our frequent trips along the beautiful coastline up to Baunei easier — and this place was absolutely perfect for that. Orosei turned out to be the ideal base: peaceful, charming, and close to everything. We could enjoy relaxing days on the beach at Marina di Orosei, while still being within easy driving distance of Cala Gonone and Porto di Santa Maria Navarrese. The venue was nothing short of extraordinary — an absolute gem that surpassed every possible expectation. The room exuded immaculate cleanliness, with the air conditioning functioning flawlessly and the kitchen equipped to the highest standard, leaving nothing to be desired. The apartment’s design blended modern sophistication with elegant comfort, while the bathroom stood out as a model of contemporary refinement. Without hesitation, I would rate this experience a resounding 10/10 and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an exceptional stay in Orosei. The location truly allowed us to experience the best of Sardinia without any compromise. Thank you very much for turning our holiday into a seamless experience .
