Guesthouse Soi was an extremely comfortable and well located place for our visit to Kyoto. Our room was clean and spacious, the provided breakfast was a simple but tasty start to the day, with the upgraded Japanese breakfast being one of the best meals we’ve had during our stay here. Maki and Sim were so friendly and helpful, and I constantly witnessed them helping people throughout our stay. This saved us when we left our bag in a bus and they were immediately able to contact the bus company and the restaurant we were in prior to confirm where they were - something that would have been extremely hard without a local phone number and fluent Japanese. Guesthouse Soi will be our first choice if we return to Kyoto.

The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the Gion district and within walking distance of some of Kyoto’s most beautiful spots. There’s also a bus stop just steps away, making it incredibly convenient to get around the city. The hotel itself feels very new, and our room was super spacious for Japanese standards. Everything was spotless, which is always my top priority. We arrived about an hour and a half before check-in, and the staff kindly let us know our room was already ready. They allowed us to check in early at no extra charge, which made a huge difference for us. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return! :)

We had a truly wonderful stay at Linda‘s place! She is very welcoming and always ready to help you if you have any questions or problems. We felt like home from the beginning. The place itself has everything that you need, is very comfortable and located in a beautiful area next to a beautiful temple and a nice area to stroll around. On top you get to experience sleeping on a futon which is way more comfortable than we expected! We recommend this place to anyone that wants to visit Kyoto and would definitely come again! Everything was amazing! The distance from the train was small and downhill. The host was phenomenal, she made us breakfast and each day was a different region. She also had amazing recommendations on where to tour. I want to come back to Kyoto again just so I can stay there longer!

It was such a special experience, it felt authentic and personal. We loved the incredible breakfasts, and the notes with tea and snacks when we returned at the end of the day. It was so warm and cosy, and so lovely to be able to look at a pretty garden in the middle of a busy city. The location was great too - there is so much within walking distance.

遥華-Haruka House se nachází v dobré lokalitě v centru města Kjóto a poskytuje zahradu, bezplatné Wi-Fi a terasu. Staying at Haruka’s house was a fantastic experience. I am so glad I decided for this accommodation in Kyoto! The room was comfortable and well equipped. The neighborhood is quiet yet well connected (buses and train lines). What made the real difference, though, were the hosts Haruka and Takeda that have a genuine interest in ensuring all is well, provide useful information about the city and make you really feel at home! Takeda even drove me to the station as I had so much luggage! And Haruka is such a nice person! I recommend Haruka’s house with no hesitation and hope to be back soon again :-)

Very clean and comfortable room and bathroom, very nice, kind and helpful the owner of the house and family, tasty breakfast. Kyo-Anthu Inn's family made me feel very good and comfortable in this house.
