Owner was so kind, offering to give me a ride to my next destination, stopping by at the lookout to enjoy the view of Yufuin and the mountain.

A standalone unit located next to the host's house. The property is furnished well and reminded me of a personal bach/summer house, feels like home - loved it. The property is well equipped - a full-blown kitchen with everything you need to cook, a bathroom, a dining table, a fridge, free Wi-Fi, and free parking. The owner left some "welcome" ice cream in the freezer and then brought a watermelon he had grown in his garden as a welcome gift. Nice touch. Big supermarket store right next door - food, drinks, medicines etc. (cash only). Great location - close to major Katsuki attractions, not long drive to Beppu. The host is very friendly and helpful. At the end of the stay, he gave us a tour of Kitsuki samurai residences which was a great bonus. Thank you, sir, it was much appreciated. I highly recommend to stay here if you're visiting Kitsuki, Beppu or nearby areas.

Service was EXCELLENT. He picked us up from and drove us back to the station, helped with all our luggage, and prepared everything to make our stay as relaxing as possible. He also spoke good English to make communication very easy. A very kind and helpful host and a very comfortable hotel.

The hotel has unbeatable proximity to Kinrin Lake as it is located right on the lake and is part of the beautigul scenery. Step out the hotel, you can find 天祖神社 on one side and 下ん湯 on the other side. Take a stroll around the lake and you see the hotel sitting on the lake, like in a fairy tale. Guests can enjoy views of the lake from guest rooms, hot spring and the restaurant. Aiming to see the morning mist on the lake water (a special scene only in autumn and winter), we looked out from the window in our room at 7:15am and saw some mists start coming out. So we went for the hot spring (with lake view) first, then took a walk round the lake to enjoy the views of the hotel, red maples and morning mists before we headed back for breakfast. Breakfast set was freshly prepared. I especially loved the bread which was steaming hot and tasted perfect with the corn soup. The outlook of the hotel might look dated, but the interior is very well maintained and cleaned. Guestrooms are quite spacious.

Everything is brand new, the beds are comfortable, there is a table with chairs to eat or work, comfortable bathroom with hot shower (and bath) and a great balcony. It was very quiet and just a short walk from the station. Highly recommend staying here!

Guesthouse ONE WORLD 一棟貸の宿 se nachází v destinaci Kitsuki a poskytuje ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi a klimatizací, zahradu a sdílený lounge. This accommodation was absolutely perfect in every way. I cannot think of any ways to improve it. The house is very large, and would suit a large group. Multiple showers and toilets, a full kitchen and dining room. On site parking, and everything was absolutely spotlessly clean. Our host was amazingly kind and welcoming, and offered great advice about our stay in Kitsuki and our visits to surrounding areas. If I ever return to North-East Kyushu again I will stay here again. Thank you Kenichi!
