He even assisted in booking a table for me at an marvelous restaurant. Thank you for making my Takeo Onsen experience truly amazing, Yurijo. In addition, the location of the guesthouse in ideal as you can walk to many places such as the famous tree, the library and the onsen itself. Also, the room is spacious and the bed is comfy. I slept like a rock. Before I left, I had an insightful and fun conversation with Yurijo. Thank you again. Hope to see you and stay at the guesthouse again.

So cool to stay in an old, traditional house, which had everything we needed. Owner was super friendly and even had some free pottery we were welcome to take. (And he had great suggestions for where to eat nearby and even left us some instant ramen to eat, if we got hungry.) The futon heaters were great and definitely needed when a cold wind storm blew in!

Ubytování jsem si opravdu moc užil. Měl jsem bohužel špatné počasí, takže jsem trávil víc času uvnitř, ale hostel je velmi útulný a cítil jsem se tu skvěle. Komunikace byla perfektní a opravdu oceňuji, že jsem po check-outu mohl ještě chvíli zůstat v kuchyni – hodně mi to pomohlo, nemusel jsem čekat v dešti na nádraží. Děkuji!

Incredible guesthouse in a nice a traditional Japanese village, right by the train station also. Had the whole dorm to myself that night and was able to cook up a feast. Owner was so friendly and let me keep my bags after check out also.

Very pleasant house, the room was nice, beds were clean and comfortable, and the shower was large. The kitchen was clean and well equipped, and we cooked dinner there. Ask the owner about the artwork inside the house! She also made several recommendations for places to go, landmarks and a cafe to visit. We went to some of these and are glad we did! She also assisted with a translation issue to help make a doctors appointment, and generally was just so welcoming. Other residents were very friendly and we enjoyed chatting.

The breakfast and location is exceptional. We were welcomed very warmly by Takeshi. He is an amazing host who is very well traveled! The room was well ventilated and very tastefully decorated. There were a few art pieces and the floral pieces in the room were also very tasteful. The ceramics used in the shop and in the room were also very lovely. Thank you for such a wonderful, clean, and comfortable stay. Keep in mind while you CAN see a washing machine in the room, it is not for guest use. We were also offered cakes and tea during our stay for free. They were very tasty and the breakfast was also very filling and delicious. It made me feel very comfortable and happy. Takeshi also helped us carry our luggage to our room. We are very grateful for his generosity.
