Lilys river house was a wonderful place to stay! We rented kayaks and went through the fishing village and down to the ocean! The food was incredible and the property was beautiful.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Dahlia. It's situated in a charming local neighborhood filled with delightful restaurants and bars. Ellen's house is spacious, featuring a large lobby where you can work, relax, or enjoy a coffee—Ellen even has a real coffee maker! The entrance is impeccably clean, just like the rest of the house. The room only had a fan, but that wasn't an issue; the window with a net screen provided fantastic ventilation. The cold water in the bathroom wasn't as cold as you might expect, but it was at a pleasant temperature. If you need hot water in a shower, it's conveniently available downstairs, there is bathroom you can use. There's also a kitchen where you can prepare a sandwich or slice some fruit to enjoy on a plate. Everything is tidy and user-friendly. You can also make free refill of your bottles! And there is also a fridge to store your meal / cool your bottles... You can pay by card upon your arrival at the property. It's just a short walk from the pier, but I wouldn't recommend bringing a suitcase; a backpack is much more practical due to the lack of regular roads. One of the highlights of M'Pai village is definitely the food. There are numerous fantastic restaurants! After my experience in Koh Rong, where finding good food was a challenge, this felt like a culinary paradise. Seapony is perfect for breakfast, while Dragonfly is great for drinks and light meals—especially their baba ganoush with flatbread! I ended up extending my stay because the location was simply wonderful. For 5usd you can take a water taxi to other beaches but I prefered M´Pai vibes.

Loved the whole place, beach is great and it's a quiet area. We stayed in the quiet season for 2nights and had the whole place to ourselves the first night! The food is decent at the restaurant. Staff are very friendly and helpful, they booked our taxi to go get the boat on our check out day too. We walked along the road to a local traditional village and it was really interesting. At night you can swim in bioluminescent plankton, highlight of our entire trip, it was magical.

I had an amazing experience at The Hide Out. The welcome was exceptionally warm, and you immediately feel at home. The hosts go above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful stay — nothing is too much trouble. They also give great tips about what to do on the island. The bungalows have been recently renovated and are beautifully decorated, with everything you might need. If you’re visiting Koh Rong, I can highly recommend this place!

This is exactly the quiet oasis I was looking for. Located on a peaceful part of the island with rustic bungalows that have an unbelievable amount of care and detail to them. From the extra towels to the refillable water, coffee/tea, mini fridge, mosquito net and even citronella sticks. John (the owner) is extremely sweet and even offers snorkeling gear. I wasn't expecting too much from the reef here cause I was here during rainy season but was very pleasantly surprised. Most importantly there are two hammock pavilions with an amazing view! Could not possibly ask for anything else!

Sam’s place is inviting and cozy, very clean and nicely organized. You basically have your own little living room while here which is such an additional value. You have coffee and tea whenever you need it, and she offers drinking water as well so you can minimize the plastic pollution on the island. You get two strong fans so we had no trouble sleeping at all. She truly makes you feel like home ❤️

The place is magical, in the middle og the jungle so it's very cool, no need of aircon. The sound of nature is so peaceful. We enjoyed so much our stay there and the owner are extremely nice, you will feel like at home!
