The pension is run by a lovely couple who also live there. They rent some units in their garden and I stayed in one of them. The view is stunning and there's a big CU convenience store 5 minutes walk from there. The unit is spacious and nicely designed, very pleasant vibes. It has a fully equipped kitchen so you can fix yourself a meal there. The couple is very friendly and chill. They came to pick me up from the bus terminal at Namhae town and brought me back there upon leaving for third the price of a taxi. They also gave me a personalized present which was a really nice surprise. The easiest way to get to the island and travel around is with your own car, but if you don't have one (like me), you can get to town with an intercity bus. Getting around the island is trickier. You can either walk if the weather permits, take a taxi, or use the local bus transport system which goes pretty much everywhere but is not very frequent so plan ahead with the NAVER app. Last thing: be kind to the island's cats. There are many of them who would be grateful to get some food. The CU store nearby has excellent cat food cans for very low prices.

Homely, cosy, and super clean. Owner Jeroen is sociable and helpful, he really looks after his guests very well. There's lots of beautiful places and islands to visit from Tongyeong, this guesthouse makes a perfect base to explore all. Highly recommended.

I was welcomed with complimentary snacks and accommodations. The front desk employee(owner?) kindly walked me to my room and showed me how to operate switches and thermostat. I took a shot with this place even though it didn't have many reviews but they appeared to be unmanpulated and honest. I'm glad I did because other hotels around here cost easily 50% or more and this place turns out to be a gem. I should've taken a taxi from terminal because they are on a steep hill. Luckily I only had backpacks so it was manageable for me but if you have a heavy carrier, just grab a taxi. Restaurants near by are ok. If you are driving here, none of those potential downsides would affect you.

Hadong Huige Stay Pension is situated Beautifully uphill and next to a stream where you can refresh yourself in the hot Korean summer and play. The Pension and its rooms are spacious clean and offer everything you need. There is a swimming pool in the garden and you can use a bbq grill for a fee. The bbq grill will be prepared and cleaned by the host so the only thing we had to do was to grill our stuff. Very convenient. The hosts were very nice and helpful! I can definitely recommend Hadong Huige Stay Pension and would love to visit again.

We stayed during the winter off-season and had the privilege of occupying the most beautiful ocean-view room all to ourselves. The view outside our window was absolutely breathtaking! The room itself was incredibly spacious and immaculately clean, furnished with elegant simplicity. The floor heating system worked perfectly, keeping the room cozy and warm throughout our stay. We also appreciated the well-equipped, spacious kitchen where we enjoyed cooking ramen. While the excellent facilities and amenities left us thoroughly impressed, the true gem of this pension is undoubtedly its wonderful host. She was incredibly hospitable, warm, and thoughtful. Whenever we messaged her asking for local dining and sightseeing recommendations, she responded promptly and efficiently. Her recommendations were detailed and carefully curated. The grilled fish and oyster restaurants she suggested offered exceptional value for money. We're particularly grateful for her helpful tips about ferry ticket discounts and luggage storage at the POW Camp. Thanks to her recommendations, our trip was filled with unforgettable memories. We will definitely recommend this pension to all my friends. If I have the chance to visit Geoje Island again, I would absolutely choose to stay here again, and I look forward to seeing the host's warm smile once more. We had a great time staying at Dimidol Pension. The location is amazing (we had a view of the sea), and the apartment was clean and well-equipped. There are shops nearby and restaurants within walking distance. The owner was very nice! He used his phone to speak English with us and advised us on places to go. On the last day before our bus, he even drove us to a viewpoint and bought us ice cream on the way! He’s a very nice guy. We would 100% recommend staying there.

I don’t know how crowded it gets in summer, but in May the place is just amazing. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly, they took the time to explain the reason of the pension’s name and showed us their beautiful garden with more the 200 types of flowers. The view from the room is incredible.
