Moukdavan Guesthouse was such a special find in Luang Prabang - 2 minute walk to the night market, conveniently located near cafes, restaurants, pharmacy, minimarts etc. Jing and her family are the most amazing and caring hosts - I arrived from the slowboat pier with no cash and no Laos SIM card, and Jing took immediate action in helping me with both of these things. Free water refills. Great location. The room itself was big, clean, comfortable. Great wifi. Hot water, cold AC. If this property is showing availability, please don't delay in making a booking!

I only stayed for one night but it was perfect. It is a little bit far away from the main attractions in downtown Luang Prabang but for me that was not a problem, as it was perfect to explore other venues and eateries in Luang Prabang. It is a 10 minutes walk from the UXO center.

I broke my right foot my first day, and the people here are some of the nicest people I've ever met. The worry, fear, and pain I experienced at first, gave way to the knowledge that I could not be in a better place to heal. The staff here are wonderful and kind people., The place is beautiful; to me, it's in the country, and yet a short ride to the centre. Everything I could want in a room is here, and easy to navigate. The room is beautiful, and I like the wood. The bed is as comfortable as I could hope for, and the room is spotlessly clean. I will be back again. From the balcony I have a good view of the Mekong River. I give this place an 11

The hosts are wonderful - they live on site, and make sure you have everything you. Loved the family style breakfast served anytime between 7:30 - 10:30; its great for meeting new people, and spending time getting to know the hosts. I also had the BEST shower to date in Southeast Asia, and the room is comfortable and quiet making sleep easy. You’re slightly outside of the main strip of Luang Prabang, but the bikes on-site are nicer than most rentals and make it easy and convenient to get around. Being slightly outside of the main drag also ensures you’ll explore other parts of the city.

Velkym plusem tohoto ubytovani je predevsim vecne usmivajici se personal v cele s hlavni recepcni, ktera je vam se vsim napomocna. Chtela bych ji touto cestou podekovat za veskerou milou peci, diky niz byl nas pobyt s manzelem uzasny. 😃
