This hotel can offer you this.

After 10 days backpacking around Sri Lanka, Maritime Nest was the perfect place to relax for a few quiet days. The cabanas are newly built, well equipped and very clean and comfortable. The gardens and pool are delightful and the food at Panchi restaurant is excellent. The breakfasts, in particular, are delicious and plentiful. Most importantly we were made to feel very welcome and were looked after extremely well. Madura, his family and great team of staff were fabulous hosts. Madura made helpful suggestions for local sights and activities and was always responsive to our queries. We particularly enjoyed visiting the local Turtle Sanctuary, a mindful and ethical way to experience these amazing creatures. The beautiful almost deserted beach can be reached via a short track and, whilst the sea is too rough for swimming, there is a delightful rock pool nearby. The room was very clean, and the host's hospitality was incredible—super friendly and attentive. She arranged a tour for us for 18,000 LKR, offered us tea in the morning before we left, and kindly assisted and guided us to our next destination. Without a doubt, highly recommended! The bathroom was also clean, and the room was spotless.

You feel you are close to nature. Lodge feels new and fresh. Bathroom is nice, a European standard, so not common. But most of all owner and manager give each tourist attention and are open to help. We had a great dinner at the lodge, so it’s worth trying, owner is a man of many talents. Last but not least pool is well maintained and water felt great like silk. Beach is close by, waves were crashing hard but if you swim further it’s calm.

It was actually a nicer and more comfortable place to stay than we expected. Also, a very comfortable bedroom, a very clean bathroom (with hot water), a charming balcony, we were surrounded by green surroundings with birds chirping. We were able to see various animals. We had lunch and dinner. Our dinner was full of sea food. It was very tasty. The staff was very friendly and the host was a very kind person. I think you will also be able to have a nice vacation at this place.🩷

We had a great time at this place. Priya was so kind to pick us uñ from the bus station and take us there again when we were leaving. We stayed at his brothers place, which is very clean and nice. His brother offeres us a fresh coconut and watermelon & woodfruitjuice. Priya also took as on a short trip around the lakes close the the acommodation and showed us some local animals. We also booked the Yala safari through them, all was good organized.

This was our first stay here, but not the last! We extended our stay for more nights because this place is so wonderful. We loved every single detail here - the rooms are clean and chill thanks to A/C. There is water, tea, coffee and water boiler in the room. You get fresh juice, refreshing towel and flower necklace when you arrive. The tables are also decorated with flowers and there were so many different things on the menu which you can order here. And the food, rice and curry, was the best we had in Sri Lanka. Same with the breakfast so it was also our favourite. You can get also really good coffee here! The nature around is beautiful and they are taking so good care of the plants and animals. We saw for example giant squirrel and so many beautiful birds during our stay. It’s nice to swim at the Rock Pool Beach, which is close. We have travelled a lot and this is the only place we can really say feels like home. The most important thing which makes this place so special are the people - special thanks to Dalu and Chami. They are the most friendly and helpful people, we had a great time with them. They make this place a paradise where you want to return again and again.

The room was amazing and the pool was clean with warm water. They also offer tasteful dinner a la carte which is convenient after a safari. Highly recommended!
