This was THE best accommodation of our trip. The owner was really nice, helpful, he did everything possible for us. The whole hotel was beautiful and our room? I slept like a princess. Food delicious, when we had an early trip outside, they gave us food package. Dinner was also really nice. Everything was clean, beautiful view at ocean. Definitely would go here again.

The Surf Lodge is beautifully decorated with a lot of love and taste. It offers amazing breakfast and a direct access to the beach. It is managed by the super kind Che who was always very attentive to help us organize a few things around the area. What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. It has a large green area with only 5-7 small standalone cottages. There are many animals and birds, and most importantly, they don’t make noise at night. Nearby is Jungle Beach, one of the few places in Weligama where swimming is comfortable since the waves are far away. The staff is wonderful—always polite and quick to resolve any issues, though there were very few during my stay. Communication was very smooth and comfortable! I talked to many people on the island, and I believe it’s hard to find a better place—hot water, good Wi-Fi, lots of greenery, no noise from roads or trains, air conditioning, excellent service, and only 7 minutes by bike to Weligama. Highly recommended!

Wilson’s place was perfect place to stay, the prices are reasonable and the room is huge, clean and tide. There is a/c and refrigerator, and if you like to get iron they will provide you. There also a water tank you can fill up your water for free. The plus thing you can find in this place is the small garden you can chill or do some yoga. Ramesh was delighted and helpful every time I needed him. Definitely I recommend this place and will come back again.

We stayed for a week at this property and had the most amazing experience. Beautiful lawns, big rooms with balconies and sit out area, housekeeping everyday, great pool with Jacuzzi and good food. What more can one ask for. The staff were very helpful at all times and made our stay very comfortable. The owners Mr. & Mrs. Dias, went out of their way to accommodate all our requests. They even decorated the place, brought a cake to celebrate my grandson’s first birthday. Thank you so much for everything. It was a memorable stay.

The rooms are big, clean and spacious. The bed is huge with a mosquito net, windows that open and such a spacious garden, washing machine that works and a small kitchen, what a place. Felt home from Holland. Really good! Excellent even. In the evening it's quiet, WiFi is good!
