The Surf Lodge is beautifully decorated with a lot of love and taste. It offers amazing breakfast and a direct access to the beach. It is managed by the super kind Che who was always very attentive to help us organize a few things around the area. What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. What a hidden gem! Jeremy and the team are excellent hosts, attending to every request we had, whether it was transport, excursions, or restaurant bookings. The guesthouse is perfectly situated at a comfortable distance from both Dickwella and Hiriketiya, offering perfect peace and tranquility. There is a wide variety of traditional and modern dining options just a short tuk-tuk ride away. The place is immaculately clean, with the grounds extending to a gorgeous beach that was peacefully quiet (which we loved!). A big shout-out to Roshan and his lovely daughter Nikya, our trusty tour guide, who were brilliant in giving advice and organizing any outings we took. A fantastic stay with some great memories made. Highly recommended!

Lavender mirissa se nachází u moře v destinaci Mirissa (jih). Pláž Thalaramba Beach se nachází 400 metrů daleko a Mezinárodní kriketový stadion Galle 35 km. 1. The location is very nice, right across the street you find a passage to the beach, after a few minutes walking you are at the turtle beach and parrot rock. Next to it is Mirissa beach. On the other side, 5 min walk to the coconut beach where is perfect view of sunset. Also worth mentioning, right next door there is a shop for water. And opposite there is a fruit bar, everyday we grab a cool coconut before going back to the room. 2. The room is very spacious! Plenty of space to store our luggage and stuff. Nice balcony also. The pillow is soooo comfortable. Everything else was new and in good condition. Room was very clean as well. We were provided also shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. 3. The hosts are so nice and kind! They always smile and have been very helpful! 4. The garden also has place to hang and dry tithe clothes.

The location is incredible itself, pure nature. The view from our room was amazing and sounds around too. From restaurant you need to test sri lankian style food for sure, it is homemade and delicious)) We use hotel’s services for guiding to the forest and it was great.
