The hosts met us with a welcome that made us feel like family friends visiting, offered cold homemade lemonade, and showed us around the house and its art collection. The house with a garden under the shade of a huge kiwi tree (never seen anything like it) has some history and sits on a quiet street right at the center of the city, a short walk from both the Sahat kula clock tower and the Ribnica old Roman bridge. Relja answered all our questions, provided great local recommendations, and even helped us find a car rental when everywhere they seemed to run out of automatics.

The land lady is very approachable. The rent is really cheap but the whole apartment is very presentable and clean. It exceeds our expectations. We didn't take a picture inside of the apartment because we really enjoyed the serenity of the house. It is relaxing.

The apartment was big, extremely clean, spacious, comfortable and fully equipped with everything we needed. And it is less than five minutes away from the airport. The owners were amazing, very lovely family, went way above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, even with the language barrier, Google translate was very helpful. They even provided transportation to the airport. Highly recommended and definitely you should stay here for long or short stay.
