I was not sure what to expect, but I can honestly say that I felt that I was staying in a mini palace. It was super clean and comfortable rooms with a great bathroom. The location was perfect! I will stay here again when I return to that area. We truly enjoyed our stay. The owner was so hospitable and helpful in every way! Wonderful place!

We stayed here for just one night with our family, and it was absolutely amazing. The house is both incredibly comfortable and beautifully authentic. It’s decorated in a charming rustic style while offering all the modern comforts. The bathtub was fantastic, and the shower was excellent. Despite the cold weather outside, the house was warm and cozy thanks to the well-functioning heating system and fireplace. The floors were a bit cool, but the bedrooms were perfectly warm, making for a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was excellent, and the surrounding area is breathtaking. Patricia, who welcomed and took care of us, was incredibly kind and attentive. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side, so we couldn’t enjoy all the amenities like the pool and jacuzzi, but we would love to return in warmer weather to fully experience everything this place has to offer. The location is truly magical—completely secluded, surrounded by stunning nature, with a small river nearby, grazing sheep, lush greenery, and mountains in the background. Absolute peace and beauty.

Nově zrekonstruovaný rodinný dům Casa D'Avenida se nachází v centru města Manteigas v přírodním parku Serra da Estrela. We have never experienced greater hospitality than here. Josefa and Maria Lourdes are the perfect hosts. We had long and good conversations, although we don’t speak Portugese and they don’t speak much English -no problem. Breakfast was plentiful and of high quality; freshly squeezed orange juice and many different local cheeses as highlights. The possibility to have coffee and home baked cake whenever you wanted, the invitation to take snacks for the coming day from the breakfast buffé….kindness at its best. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. Value for money is excellent and we highly recommend a stay at Casa d’Avenida. Obrigada Josefa and Maria Lourdes!

Perfect location with plenty of shop's ,cafe's and restaurants within walking distance. Clean room with comfortable bed and sufficient water pressure in the shower! Highly recommend !

A very beautiful and peaceful village, and it was an amazing experience. The chalet was cozy and well-maintained, surrounded by stunning nature that made the whole stay feel relaxing and refreshing. It’s a perfect getaway spot for families and groups with kids—calm, safe, and full of charm. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in a natural and serene setting!

Tento hotel se nachází na úpatí pohoří Serra da Estrela ve městě Manteigas a nabízí elegantní pokoje s bezplatným Wi-Fi. Parkování na místě je zdarma. An amazing fireplace kept us warm on cold evenings — we spent all our time in front of it. The hostess (unfortunately, I forgot to ask her name) was kind and welcoming, and helped us with everything we needed. There’s also a large parking area, so no need to worry about that. I recommend to try goat cheese at the breakfast.

Great location, nice apartment. It had everything that we needed for a great stay. The host was very responsive. There are good restaurants near and it was a quiet place to relax when not visiting
