The whole accommodation is set next to their family house and really everything is very picturesque. Among other things, the bus, the shop and the beautiful coastline are a short walk away. Luckily for us, we also saw the northern lights on the island 🤩

The house is located in a secluded location and the end of a road. The host is very kind and took time to talk to us and explain things about the location, his history, living in Sweden. He also offered for our child to use the toys of his own son that was around the same age. The hosts' family previously lived in the property until last year, before moving next door. So the property is fully equipped. There are plenty of beds upstairs (4 single that you could combine to form doubles, 1 double) and a lot of floor space remaining so you could stay with an extended family.

We had a misunderstanding about bed linens being included, which he graciously provided free of charge. We loved the space and would definitely stay again.

With an absolutely beautiful beach just 3 km away (don’t miss the sunsets!) and the town of Halmstad 10km down the main road, there’s plenty to do. But honestly, you will be hard pressed to stray to far from the tranquility of Lilla Lyngabo. If you are an American, Ulla (your host) can best be described as an approachable and down to earth Martha Stewart (without Snoop Dog). She has impeccable taste and everything she does is to perfection. Whatever you do, do not forgo Ulla’s 5 course meal; it is an experience you will not soon forget.

A very serene setting, where you can feel the breeze coming off the sea a short distance away. A beach is only a ten minute walk away. There is a horse pasture right next door, providing a relaxing sight. Food is excellent. We had both dinner and breakfast. Very good selection and very well prepared. We had the good fortune to have a conversation with several local residents, and share stories.

Amazing seaview! Very helpful host who answered quickly my questions about the place. :) The room is clean and nice. We had shared bathroom, but no one more than us used this, so I felt like in the private one. ;) There is a full equipment kitchen what you can use. The place is in the city center of Fjallbacka, so you have only 2 minutes to the harbour, the hill or you can only watch the view from the window and it is also great! ;)
