The owners met us at the property for our arrival around 21:00, took every care to make us feel comfortable, and provided great information on local sights. The rooms are very nice, even nicer than they appear in the pictures. One of the nicest showers I have ever had in a stay.

This property really exceeded my expectations. Even though located in the heart of the Medina, the area was very calm and peaceful. The building and rooms are very tastefully decorated and the services were all very well-done. Breakfast was available even during Ramadan and the staff were very attentive. The hammam was clean, warm, and lovely and the attendants were extremely kind. You are within 3 minutes from the Zitouna mosque, most of the Souk, and the ministerial buildings. I slept very peacefully in the comfortable bed, there was coffee and snacks made available, and the bathroom is well equipped.

Very calm neighbourhood, the decoration of the apartment was very nice looking and it was inside a typical Tunisian house. The breakfast was very nice and enough for two for the whole stay. The brand new toothbrushes and toothpaste came very handy as my friend happened to forget her toothpaste. Eya was really nice and gave us a long list of all the spots we have to go to around Sidi Bou Said. We enjoyed our stay in this really nice town/neighbourhood.

The sliding glass doors overlooking the veranda that looked out directly to the sea was breathtaking. The bed was AMAZING and oh so comfortable. The linens were clean and comfortable. Truly, had the best night sleep. And the daily breakfast was very nice too. The staff is friendly and always available to help you. I like that the hotel is small and quiet but within 10 minutes (by foot) you are in the heart of La Marsa with plenty of cafes and restaurants and shops.

Our experience was so positive that we decided to cancel our reservation at Sousse and rebook our last night in Tunisia with The 18. Our hosts were extremely helpful and on both stays we had great conversations with them. The accommodations are cozy and comfortable but more importantly ever so convenient to the airport. This is the perfect location for anyone who is departing from Tunis airport in the morning, whether you have a rental car (as we did) or not.

The house is full of antics and is very clean and tidy, it is owned by a very welcoming and classy family, i really loved their hospitality, and i would definitely come back again in my future travels, i highly advise solo travellers and couples to choose this house
