From the moment I arrived after booking the same day I had a very wonderful experience. The staff greeted me with big smiles and welcoming conversation and gestures. I was offered some soothing warm tea, which was perfect as I look forward to a restful evening. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the property very attractive and safe and pretty. The breakfast was out of this world with fruit and toast and juice and omelette and coffee that was included in the price. I felt like a queen. I highly recommend if you’re flying into Entebbe or spending time here for other reasons. It is a gem!

It’s not a huge place so it doesn’t get the hustle and bustle of a big hotel. It offers more privacy and is quiet and safe. A perfect location upon landing at the airport that morning and the pick up at the airport was so appreciated. Location is good. It’s a 10 minute walk to the mall and grocery store (Carrefour) to get everything you need for your safari - SIM card, currency exchange, water, adaptor, snacks. The staff were lovely! The on-site restaurant has a view and excellent food. We ate there both nights because it was so good. Try the pizza, the soup and the yakitori. If you go to the botanical garden the entrance is across the street. Ask for the guide named Bright. He’s has a degree in biology and is very knowledgeable about the plants and animals. There is an entrance fee and a fee for the guide. Make sure you get a good guide.

Alison & Dave's Guesthouse is a place we first stayed at in 2017, and even back then, I was already impressed. What truly stands out, however, is that it keeps getting better with every visit. The team is simply outstanding – warm, professional, and always attentive. The breakfast is delicious, freshly prepared, and a great way to start the day. Rooms and common areas are kept impeccably clean, and the Wi-Fi connection is stable and fast, which is not always a given in the region. A truly well-managed guesthouse that continues to exceed expectations. Highly recommended – whether you're visiting for the first time or returning like we do.
