From the get go, the drive there was breathtaking. We were welcomed by the friendly staff and didn’t have to worry about a thing. Absolute Gem of a property, my fiance and I loved the location and the amenities. The view is incredible especially near the pool for sunsets. We had an amazing dinner prepared by the chef and it was exceptional. The staff were amazing. I will be coming back again to this beautiful beautiful home!

Meggie was so kind and helpful throughout our stay, the guesthouse and our room, Moyo suite, and has all the necessary facilities and gives you that warm african vibe, we appreciate the gifts for our honeymoon a lot, couldn’t love it more! Definitely recommend.

Dreamhouse Guest House is situated in Hout Bay, Cape Town. It offers endless mountain and sea views and features 2 salt-water swimming pools. Llandudno Beach is a 7-minute drive away. Super friendly and helpful hosts and staff. The views were gorgeous and the breakfast was incredible. All in all a beautiful and romantic place to stay in Hout Bay. We also loved the self-serving bar along with the salt water pools!

Our stay at Bluemari's Retreat was an absolute delight from start to finish. It is a luxury retreat in every way... a beautiful house and garden in a quiet and safe location which exudes calm and serenity. All rooms are stylish and well equipped with comfy beds, quality bed linen and top notch bathrooms. The outdoor bath in Flamingo is fabulous. The pool area, dining room, lounge and library are beautiful too and we were made to feel so 'at home'. EVERYTHING is of the highest quality and EVERYWHERE is immaculate. Huge thanks to Jan and Evelyne who are superlative hosts, so charming and so efficient with great knowledge of the area. Serving the most delicious breakfasts including perfect poached eggs and omelettes, helping with recommendations for restaurants and adding many personal touches that made our stay so memorable. From homemade biscuits, a cellar of superb wines and a handy phone charger by the kettle to Christmas gifts and music on Christmas morning and an invitation to a braai on our last night. The best hotels just cannot match the style, charm and serenity of Bluemari's Retreat. If you are planning to stay near Cape Town, you must stay here!

Very spacious and clean apartment. Very kind and helpful hosts. Super comfortable beds and couches. Bathtub. Fast and reliable internet. Backup electricity for load shedding. Welcome snacks, fruits and wine. Very steep driveway which was quite entertaining to drive :) A word of warning though: some cars (long, or with low suspension) might have problems going up the driveway.

Definitely we recommend this place… but you’ll need a car… in our case we had it so everything was amazing!
