Kukummi Lodge - formerly Mackaya Bella Country Lodge está en Champagne Valley, a 7,3 km de Monks Cowl Country Club, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y... Kukummi is a wonderful lodge in an exceptional location. There are only three guest accommodations - each with its own rondavel. The atmosphere is therefore very personal, which I really liked, travelling on my own this time. Both hosts - Ryan and Danny - are super nice and make you feel like a friend from the moment you arrive. If you are interested, Ryan will be happy to tell you more about the place, the history of the lodge and the plans of the two owners. I was fascinated by his stories and couldn't stop asking more details (hope you didn't mind me bothering, Ryan... ;o) The staff is very attentive and eager to fulfill your every wish. Breakfast and dinner are very tasty. There is not much choice at dinner, but a fixed weekly menu, which is completely understandable given the small size of the hotel. I really enjoyed the meat dishes, but vegetarians also have no problem - Danny, the co-owner, is one himself. Various options were offered for breakfast. My personal favorite was the English breakfast prepared by Dombi - nothing was missing and it was excellently prepared... a dream! You have a wonderful view of the mountains and can go hiking from the lodge, but those who are not so adventurous can also enjoy this very special place in itself. My favorite spot for sunny days was in the meadow by the stream, where you can dip into the clear mountain water whenever it gets too warm. And: don't miss out the hot tub in the evening. It's such a great moment when you stretch out in the large, pleasantly temperate tub, with a cold beer or a glass of wine in your hand... I have every intention of coming back - preferably in September, when everything is in bloom.

The Goodland Cottages se encuentra en Champagne Valley, a 12 km de Monks Cowl Country Club, y ofrece piscina de temporada al aire libre, habitaciones libres de humo, wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento... Beautifully designed cottage with a fully equipped kitchen, great walk in shower and huge bed!! We loved our stay here! There is a great farm shop 10mins down the road which was lovely for stocking up for dinner. And the start of some lovely walks are just 20mins away

El Glen Ormond Country House está situado en Rosetta, a 43 km del Hilton, y cuenta con una piscina al aire libre y vistas a la montaña. I checked late at 9:00 pm local time. The host was awake and ready to welcome. The entrance gates to hotel compound were automatically operated so it was very safe. The entire place was booked but there was no noise from other guests. There was hot water available at all times. And a fire place to keep you warm. The host was always available for any help. Host permitted me to check in late and check out late too. The area around the cottages was huge and well maintained.

Graceland Self-Catering Cottages se encuentra en Winterton, a 5,3 km de Monks Cowl Country Club, y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y zona de barbacoa. What a wonderful place! We had such an amazing time, everything was just perfect. The location is brilliant, great views of the mountains, convenient for trips and close enough to shops. Accommodation was spotless and had everything you need for your stay and daily clean just helped to stay relaxed. Pool was clean and warm. The staff is very helpful and helped us with short trips. I can recommend the birds of prey show or walk to the waterfalls from Drakensburg Sun. And the bakery nearby has some mean desserts 🎂 We will definitely come again!

El Malachite Manor es un alojamiento de 4 estrellas situado a las afueras de Underberg, en KZN. Food was outstanding and the attention to detail made us feel like we were in a ski resort in Europe. Very well appointed. We will be back

Berghouse and Cottages is situated in a rural setting, high up in the Northern Drakensberg Hills, 30 km from Bergville. Free WiFi is available in each cottage. Excelent, becouse of our hike we got a bag to go. there was everything you need for a hike.

Hawklee Country House se encuentra en Nottingham Road, a 6,3 km de Fort Nottingham Museum, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. The place was unreal. So beautiful with the river rushing through trees. The bed was completely luxurious and the attention to detail outstanding. The biscuits given with tea were home made, as were the scented shower bombs - just amazing. I asked for a takeaway breakfast which Tanya happily provided which was delicious. One of the best places I've stayed in South Africa. Would 100% go back.

The Garden Manor está en Winterton, a 5 min a pie de Winterton Museum, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y terraza. Great hospitality. Comes with tea, coffee, fresh milk, bottled water. Place was so clean and so cozy. Fully equipped with a TV, wifi, air conditioning. Definitely great 10/10. The attention to detail was everything. From the little treats left on the bedside to the rusk biscuits which were so thoughtful. Super friendly owners. This will definitely be a place I would want to come back to.

The Giraffe House se encuentra en Winterton, a 15 km de Winterton Museum, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y terraza. It’s the perfect gateway spot for family or a group of friends. We had a great time over there. The caretaker, Mavis, made us feel so welcome. The owner, Rose, was not on the property but she was easily accessible telephonically at all times. Thank you for the experience! 🙏🏽😊👏👏
