It actually looks more beautiful than the pictures. Spotless and fresh, I really appreciate the efforts they put in the small details like the picnic bag, the umbrellas and the sewing kit. The location is superb just a few steps to the center of Bowness where you can find the cruises center, the bus station and all the shops, cafes and restaurants. Definitely recommend to everyone.

Situated in Grizebeck and only 30 km from World of Beatrix Potter, 2 Malt Kiln Cottages features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The Muncaster Castle is within 37 km of the holiday home. The property is non-smoking and is set 34 km from Lake Windermere. The flat was very spacious and had a nice view of an old cottage across the road. Everything was clean with nice modern fixtures and appliances. Although the flat is right on the roadway, we had no road noise. Having off-street parking was a plus. We also liked having two full bathrooms. The kitchen had everything one would need for a short or long stay with a large refrigerator.

This holiday home also includes a patio that doubles up as an outdoor dining area. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Loved the views and the accommodation was really comfortable with everything you needed for a few days. Bed very comfortable. Ski Bar on site had good meals and lots of drinks choices and the staff were very accommodating. Very dog friendly. Try Riva Gelato just over on the campsite which has lovely ice creams to choose from. Easy to get to lots of different places from where we were. We were unfortunate enough to encounter almost a full day of heavy rain but the accommodation has a good TV with lots of channel choices so we were able to keep entertained when we couldn't get out. Communication with the owners was excellent. We will be visiting again.

Featuring a private entrance, the holiday home allows guests to maintain their privacy. Stayed in the Larch Cabin. Brilliant communication from staff prior and during the stay. Love how much information they provided in regards to using items in the log cabin (such as fire) and the local area (walks, vets, hospital etc). Kitchen was well equipped with all the utensils to make decent meals so you don't need to worry about bringing everything from home like some self catering places. Nice, cosy and really clean. Ideal place for couples looking to get away, really quiet area and not too busy 🙂

This accommodation made our time there really special. Lovely and clean home, with a modern interior impressed us when we walked in. Having the hot tub there was amazing really completed a perfect stay. Bed was super comfortable, I really have nothing bad to say about this stay. Loved every second of it, location was great aswell. Hosts were very easy to contact and were very polite. Would recommend this to anyone staying in Windermere!
