The overall experience from the reception staff to house keeping. The room was ideally located with lift access. The morning breakfast was exceptional the staff and chef were friendly and pleasant nothing was any problems. The breakfast was plenty full and fresh.. best bit was the toaster only took 1 turn to toast.. yes 1 go we have sinced joined the hgi and be booking and using Holiday Inn hotels in the future .

The hotel is just off junction 64 of the A1(M), less than 12 miles from Newcastle, Sunderland and Durham. It has free parking, a restaurant, a lounge bar and air-conditioned rooms. The customer service was first rate both behind the desk and in the restaurant. It was very comfortable and good . Value for money. We also liked the spacious grounds. The evening manager took time to chat with us and the lady in the morning made sure our comfort was taken care of. Thank you
